Brutus is a moon half the size of the aforementioned orbital moon of Judas, Brutus is a moon that retains an atmosphere; however, an abundance of caustic gases makes the planet inhabitable. Due to the nature of the moon’s atmosphere, the planet is barren of plant and animal life under a thick, impenetrable layer of gas. The cloud layer prevents light from directly refracting to the surface, creating a cool, hard surface that one could travel upon. The effect of the swirling gasses, lifeless rock and unending darkness has made several of the Clan’s members deem it “The Abyss.”
