The Traveler is shrouded in mystery as to his origins and previous lifestyle before showing up on Aeotheran in 34 ABY.

Biography

Early Life

Very little is known about the early life of "The Traveler". With extensive searching, Clan intelligence has come up with references to "The Traveler" throughout it’s history. It is speculated that he is either non-human or a title more than just a single person, which is handed to the next person deemed worthy upon death of the former. The last recorded sighting of the elusive figure was dated back in 2 ABY. Based on these facts, experts assume that "The Traveler" is around sixty years old should it be a single entity.

Aeotheran

The Traveler returned to Aeotheran in 34 ABY accompanied by Arik Shathis after a meeting with the Quaestor of House Shar Dakhan, Darkblade, aboard the Covenant. He wore nothing but a simple brown robe that hide his feet and face, giving the illusion that he glided across the floor instead of walked. When speaking, the voice seemed to be one laced with wisdom, making you almost beg to hear more words spill from the cowl of the cloak. Very little was said about during the shuttle ride back down to the planet. Much to Arik’s frustration, the esteemed guest seemed content with saying as little as possible.

Upon landing on Aeotheran the Mayor of Seng Karash was surprised to see a Warhost security escort awaiting them and whisked away The Traveler, but not before he was given a firm handshake and a thank you for the escort to the landing pad. Arik was further surprised by the strength of the grip during their handshake, the tall being definitely having more to it than just what the eye could see and the ears could hear. The secrecy and protection offered The Traveler suggested the man had powerful friends in high places. Finally, the Warhost called out to him with familiarity, only mentioning him as "Traveler" and dropping the prefix, which caused further confusion in Arik.

Kel Rasha

Poster for the Mayoral elections.

Once Traveler had arrived in Kel Rasha by means of monorail, it became clear he felt at home on Aeotheran. As he thanked the escort once they had brought him to his residential living quarters in the high end district of Kel Rasha, Traveler immediately set to work. Contacting many different elite members in the society, he announced he would need their help during the time he would run for Mayor. Having no funds to run by himself, he promised them respectable reward and recognition should he win the election.

His allies scurried to his aid, and seemingly out of nowhere within a few days there was a second contestant to Maya Nikeisha running for Mayor of Kel Rasha.

Whilst his campaign had a slow start compared to Maya, Traveler promoted unity of fighting forces and better living conditions for the soldiers and veterans of Naga Sadow in Kel Rasha. Traveler was able to secure the support of many of the soldiers and veterans of the city who were tired of being treated like cannon fodder and sheep. Donations were being made to his coffers with substantial amounts to help secure his Mayoral election during the race. It was becoming rather clear that there was a rift between the people in Kel Rasha and he capitalized on the growing concern of the general populace who sympathized with the soldiers and veterans.

Despite being relatively unknown, Traveler had gathered much support to his cause, suggesting he had political skills and was good at creating a harmonic feeling in his campaign efforts. Always seen as a hooded figure, he ended his rallies with eight simple words, “You can’t trust the face of your politicians.”

This serves to keep questions away as to why he never shows his face, many believing it to be a stunt to go along with his campaign.

So far the entire campaign has been a major success and the supporters of the mysterious new candidate are convinced he is the next best thing for Kel Rasha.

Between the first and final stages up to the pivotal moment of the public electing their Mayor, both Traveler and Maya Nikeisha knew they would be each other’s strongest competitor’s.
