I see the contestants are making their way out onto the starting grid. This article was originally created as an entry for a Dark Crusade competition and is not official DJB canon content. It is preserved here for historical purposes only.

As with all clans and houses of the Brotherhood, Tarentum responded to the attack on the Brotherhood, answering the Grand Master's call to arms as she had done in years past. Tarentum was under the command of Anshar Kahn Tarentae for the first two missions, but before the third mission, Anshar stepped down and turned control of the house over to Scion Altera.
Preliminary Actions
The Dark Crusade was preceded by several events, each equally important in moving Tarentum into the conflict. Like all the other houses of the Brotherhood, Tarentum faced the threat from the Horizon's Plague. Infected recruits carried the disease to Tarentum and the members of the house slowly began to succumb to it. Quick action on the part of Anshar and Sith Bloodfyre helped isolate, or kill, some of the infected victims. In a desperate move, Anshar took Levathan and made a run for the Shadow Academy, the presumed source of the infection. Though this ultimately proved to not be the case, Anshar did help prevent the destruction of the Shadow Academy.
The plague was ultimately proven to be the work of Archibald Zoraan, a former Grandmaster long thought dead. Zoraan sent forces to attack both Antei and the various houses of the Brotherhood. Tarentum was no exception and a powerful fleet attacked Yridia II. Hard pressed and facing total destruction, Tarentum found an unlikely ally in House Odan-Urr, though not without a hefty payment. With the assistance of the Jedi, Tarentum managed to turn the tide and win the battle.
Though some in Tarentum argued for isolation and a building up of resources in preparation of an attack, Anshar decided that Tarentum would join the crusade against the attackers.
Nfolgai
The planet Nfolgai was the first world that the forces of Tarentum found themselves on.
Khar Delba
Jason Hunter, Hades, Scion Altera, Levathan, Kalmah Sidhe, Anshar Kahn Tarentae, and Dranik Tarentae formed the most notable of Tarentum's teams in the assault on Khar Delba. An unforgiving ice planet, it was the home of Naga Sadow's tomb. The shuttle carrying the team crashed, and signs pointed to sabotage. All the Dark Jedi survived with only minor injuries, but the team was forced to walk a substantial distance with insufficient gear in the planet's brutally harsh environment to get to the intended landing zone.
On the way, the team was attacked by behemoths, giant mammals similar to mammoths. The beasts were under the control of One Sith agents trying to force the Tarenti over the edge of a precipice to their deaths. As the mission progressed, the Dark Jedi began to be influenced by the Dark Side's substantial presence manifested by voices and hallucinations. Scion was haunted by a vision of his dead Apprentice. Hades was tempted to attack Anshar, but was able to resist the urge. Once inside the tomb, Jason was led by spirits to the remnants of Ludo Kressh's sword, and ultimately tried to use it against his friends.
Ultimately the tomb yielded little of value, and the team was lucky to escape with their lives.
Interlude I
After the campaign on Khar Delba, the Brotherhood took a break from the campaign, so far Tarentum forces were hard pressed to keep up with the larger clans’ armies and fleets, the respite was a welcome chance to recover, regroup and rearm. At this time, the Brotherhood also celebrated the Exodus with the Independence Games. Members such as Anshar, Jason, Levathan, and Ernordeth all participated in, and won, events during these games. After the end of the Independence Games and before the start of the next mission, Anshar chose to step down as quaestor. In his place, Scion Altera returned to the role to lead the house in the assault on Ch'hodos.
