The Credit Accounts page outlines the basic tools available for managing credits in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, and what type of information is available to members and units with regards to their credit accounts. The primary goal of his is to give members tools to save towards larger more expensive items while understanding where their credits are coming from and through transparency give the system a high level of integrity. Discrepancies to this information, or simple questions, should be directed to the Regent.

For specific information about how to earn credits, see the possessions salary policy.

Account Management

Accessed via the administration section of the site under "Your Character", then "Credit Accounts", the Credit Accounts link brings up Account Management and provides two types of accounts each with different tools to help you manage your credits depending on the type.

  • Spending Account: The spending account exists by default and is created when a member or unit is created. Each will have only one account of this type, and it is where all credits earned are automatically credited, and all purchases are debited. When viewing a store, only the credits in the spending account will show up as available, and only these credits can be spent on items. Credits must be moved from a savings account into the spending account before purchasing items at a store. This account can be renamed with the Rename button next to the account, or the spending account details can be viewed using the View button to look at all individual credits and debits along with other relevant information to the transactions.
  • Savings Account: The "+ Create Savings Account" button will start the process to create a savings account, and a member can give this a name of their choosing that helps them identify the account as well as set a percentage of all credits earned to be deposited automatically into the account. Once created it is designated by the Type of Savings on the Account Management page. After created, the name and percentage can be edited later with the Edit button next to the account, a deposit can be made to the account of credits from the spending account, a withdrawal can be made from the savings account to the spending account, or the savings account details can be viewed using the View button to look at all individual debits and credits along with other relevant information to the transactions.

Account Details

When the View button is clicked for any account, it will bring up a full look at every debit and credit transaction for a specific account, as well as some graphs to track value over time. All purely informative to help a member review and manage their finances.

  • Spending credits balance over time: Shown only on spending accounts, this is a graph that shows the balance of the spending account considering all debits and credits over time with a variety of zoom levels as well as the ability to download or print the graph. Intended as a tool to help a member or unit review their account balance visually.
  • All-time credits earned: Shown only on spending accounts, this is a graph that shows the balance of the spending account considering only credits to the account over time with a variety of zoom levels as well as the ability to download or print the graph. Intended as a tool to help a member or unit to review the total value of all credits ever earned in the possessions system visually.
  • Mutation - Date: Shows the exact date and time that a transaction took place against an account.
  • Mutation - Description: Shows a basic description of the transaction that took place, with information to understand the nature of why the debit or credit took place.
  • Mutation - Debit: Shows a currency (credits) value of a transaction, if it was a debit against that account reducing the total.
  • Mutation - Credit: Shows a currency (credits) value of a transaction, if it was a credit against that account increasing the total.
  • Mutation - Performed by: Shows which account initiated a transaction, showing either a member name or notes that it was handled by an Automated Process.

Discrepancies

Any discrepancies or concerns with anything on the account details screen should be brought to the Regent for response.
