Dark Sabre Taldrya is a member of the Brotherhood and a well-known Son of Taldryan. A Krath Pontifex, he has held a number of notable positions both in his Clan and the Brotherhood as a whole.

Character History

Beginnings

c. 36 BBY

Like many Jedi of the Republic, Kren L'yat was taken from his family at a very young age. His training progressed normally for many years, but the absolute calm that surrounded the young man eventually caught the eye of numerous instructors. Surely tranquility was a virtue, but no other Padawan had mastered the art so quickly. Most elders were quick to laud this behavior. A few remained suspicious yet said nothing.

Unfortunately, the young Jedi's dispassionate but consuming thirst for knowledge led him to an archive holding records of the family background of each Jedi. While attached to the guard of a corrupt and powerful Senator, Kren exchanged mind tricks for information, eventually discovering the location of this vault. As he printed hard copies of every file to study, multiple Jedi arrived to take him away. Threatening to release the information to the public, thus allowing every Jedi to know his or her origins and giving ammunition to the enemies of the Jedi, Kren escaped with one location in mind: Thyferra, his birthplace.
