“Fortune smiles upon the strong and worthy” Cassandra El’sin upon her appointment to Quaestor.
Cassandra El’sin is currently a Sith Warrior of Independent House Plagueis and served as the last Quaestor of House Exar Kun. Although she is one of the youngest female members of Plagueis, she has always tried her best to succeed. Many people agree that her talents are as strong as someone twice her age, and that she can be quite a deadly warrior. She believes that with her deceased father’s will and her inner motivation built on revenge, Cassandra will only continue on her ascension through the Dark side.

The Birth of a Beautiful Girl
Two years had passed since the Dantooine Massacre, which left one of its newly established colonies in ruins after a Imperial attack. The shock of the attack had left many in fear, but that never stopped the people of the Planet rebuilding. That was the day when the girl’s parents met, a vulnerable woman in tears of mourning who was cradled in the strong arms of a muscular striking man.
As time went by, their relationship blossomed and soon they married as their love was undying. And then, they conceived a daughter. Cassandra El’sin, named after her father’s great grand-mother. They had waited for this day for many years, to be the parents of such a bundle of joy. As the girl grew up she had a special bond with her father, Antares El’sin. The two of them did so much together, perhaps that is what spurred the force that ran through the girl’s veins.
The year was now 18 ABY, and Cassandra had grown into a sweet little five year old. But with that came something Antares hoped would never happen, a flicker in the Force. He sensed it growing, spreading through her like wild fire. Knowing that if he remained with his daughter any longer, she would have been in grave danger, for a fate he didn’t want her to have. Using his bitter judgement and actions to fuel his strength once again, he had to let his Daughter and Wife go for the best. Giving them both one last kiss, he vanished and his true whereabouts was never known.
The First Dark Discovery
Years started to fly by, and the memories of her father faded. Cassandra had grown quite accustomed to being secluded as a child, finding fun on her own, and became quite a little explorer. At the young age of ten, she explored an abandoned Dantari temple. Being lurked further into its darkness, she slowly began to become frightened, and fear poured over her as a horde of Kinrath’s appeared.

Taking a deep breath, the girl armed herself with a short Knife she had taken but her Mother’s kitchen. The Creatures snarled at her presence, charging towards her. But then they stopped dead, as if she was protected by some type of shield. Cassandra didn’t know what was going on, but kept stepping forwards, watching as the Kinrath vanished into the shadows.
As she progressed further into the cave, the young girl came upon a large chamber, lit up by the glow of crystals. They were fascinating, bright and colourful to her young child eyes. A deep feeling grew inside her, a power she had never experienced before. Guessing it was something to do with the stones, she quickly stuffed a few in a sack and then decided it was time to get home.
Cassandra returned to her mother, trying to hide what had happened, hiding her secrets. But then she saw him, he looked so much like her father. The same bulky appearance and the same smile. She wanted to hear what the stranger had to say, but was left to sulk in her room as her Mother demanded her not to. Cassandra could only hope that it wasn’t bad news, and she lay there thinking of the father she had forgotten.
And Then Came Despair
During the next two years, the young girl started to feel more different than ever. She never really found friends easily and spent more time exploring. The crystals she had taken from the cave all that time ago remained by her side, she studied them and found them full of energy. Cassandra even managed to control that power, moving objects, making things happen with only a thought.
But then times started to change, a new enemy challenged the entire galaxy. The Yuuzhan Vong had invaded, cursing all who lived, bringing planets down to their knees. Dantooine had become a planet for refugees, it was a safe place, but that was all about to change.
The time of incursion had finally brought itself to her home planet, it took everyone by surprise, everyone was off guard. Lands became swamped with revolting creatures; there were the warriors of the Yuuzhan Vong, and the skies were flooded with smoke and the mutated like ships called Coral Skippers.
Although still young, Cassandra could feel the agony they were bringing and the death that had just begun. Even though there was hope as Admiral Traest Kre’fey’s fleet came to Dantooine’s defence, the sacking of the Planet had already started.
City Under Fire
In the rush to escape thousands of people ran for any aircraft possible to evacuate, no one could ignore the battle that raided the sky above the capital city. Coral Skippers turned the sky red, and the magma rock they fired struck the earth, killing many with each hit. They destroyed buildings, homes and brought a bitter hell upon the land of Dantooine.
Cassandra held her mother’s hand tight both of them were heading to the closest craft for survival. But the young girl’s heart ached more as she could feel death spreading into the air. When they had finally made it to one of the docking bays, screams echoed out around them as a Coral Skipper had broken off from the main bulk of its horde, preparing itself for another bombing run.
That’s when her hand broke away from her mother’s, she felt as if she was thrown aside like her life depended on it. As she landed on the dirt ground, a thunderous roar rang out and the Docking bay was engulfed in flames. Cassandra stumbled to her feet, her heart sank with more pain as she could hear frightening screams echo into her ear.
She tried to make it to her Mother, jumping through the flames and then finally stumbled over a group of dead charred bodies. It was then she came upon her mum, her body half burnt, tears strolling down her pale face. Cassandra gasped, and liquid started to boil up around her eyes. She fell to her knees, finding the heat unbearable, but she couldn’t leave her mother’s side.
“ Take…my necklace Cassie….never forget who you are…I love …you”
As Cassandra took the sapphire pendant from her mother, she hugged her tightly and cried out loud as she felt her mums soul pass on.
The only way forward
Although lost upon the floor of devastation, Cassandra was taken into the arms of her uncle. It was almost surprising he was even there, but it was almost like fate. Before all hell fell to Dantooine for a second time, they escaped on a vessel far beyond the refugee zone. But even before they could reach their next destination, their vessel ran into pirate space in which they were violently attacked and then were boarded.
Her uncle was struck twice with blaster shots only to protect the young girl; she cried in fear only trying hers heart content to call upon her power but failed in the loss of will power due to the devastation she had gone through. Staring blindly at her Uncle she watched him reject any interrogation and in one more shot he lost his last heart beat. Afraid of her own death and realizing that the whereabouts of her father became much more a lost legacy struck her deeper, than even hearing the words that she may come in use to the pirates.
Lost Secrets of the next step
Three years had passed with her service to this pirate, but now he had become more of a black market Crime lord. Contact with the Yuuzhan Vong had been provoked; their full base of operations became well hidden within the vast galaxy. Cassandra was still tied to the force, but it remained an echo in her blood as her power within it skills were silenced by her past. She had become much more of a beautiful young lady, developing into stages of adulthood but yet her strong eyes and sweet smile never left. She had been used as much like slave girl, a pleasure toy and slowly hatred tainted her pure soul.
But yet did she know that a chance for all of this to change would come into play. In service of Lorek Forto, she learnt much from combat to piloting skills and felt stronger with these knew skills.
On this one day as she was almost thrown into her quarters after a rather violent beating from her master, Cassandra felt a new strong presence within and around her. Her eyes wandered through the darkness and met with a person who stood hidden within the shadows. The man seemed as if he was the shadows but yet she did not question this. His voice sounded so relaxing but he spoke snappy and strongly. He gave her a warning, of the events to take place; he gave her the knowledge that there was a small vessel ready to be used to take her to the next step in life as well as that she was in much danger if she were to stay here. Her connection to something she felt lost came back, and there from it she stood strong feeling the presence of her father smiling at her compassion and then it seemed as if he vanished.
Anxiety for Blood and Freedom
Standing strong she held onto the crystal and her mothers necklace that she was given long ago, knowing that all of this could change she brought herself together for her next step. But then the Command Cruiser under Lorek’s name shook and an explosion rang out through its entire core. She stared blindly out of her porthole in the darkness of space watching a huge thing creeping towards them, it looked like the core of an asteroid but something much more as she could it shooting out the deadly Coralskippers she had encountered before.

With the ship on full alert, she knew this was the time to act as she made her way through the decks of the cruiser she pick up weaponry from fallen guards and preceded her way to the Command deck. Entering she felt the madness of everyone’s fears of the Yuuzhan Vong, even as she stared at Lorek with her blood lust he was too much in fear himself. Cassandra had heard all the critical warnings but this didn’t stop her, pulling from her clothes a dagger that she had stole. She dug it deep into the neck of Lorek despite his screams, his death was quick and now she felt free. Blood stained her hands and the blade, her eyes shot up looking deep into Lorek’s personal guard. Although weary, her mind felt pain as she threw him out of her path with what she felt to be magic.
When she had finally reached the docking bay, she found a vessel and she was impressed to find it ready to fly. As she jumped into the cockpit, she took off leaving this haunted part of her past forever. Without even being detected by the Vong she escaped watching the glow of the explosion that destroyed the pirate cruiser for good.

The voyage to a planet which the girl had never heard off seemed faster than she expected; cradling the dagger Cassandra slid her finger along the blade which was still tainted by the blood of Lorek. The transport vessel shot through the atmosphere, as she looked out of the cockpit her eyes gloomed upon the dying earth of the Planet. It looked ravaged by war, but yet its edging seemed much different than she actually expected. The ship flew over many structures and then finally settled down a place much darker mysterious place than the whole planet put together.
As she crawled her way onto the landing pad, the girl was almost instantly surrounded. Kidnapped by men dressed in robes full of power and might, she was dragged into a temple thrown in front of the Dark Side Adept, Braecen Kaeth. With demands to reveal her, she immediately shot out her story and soon it all came to clear of her fate. As he revealed that her father had been dead for years, her heart grew twisted from this. For all what she went through, her heart had been crushed into a state which could not be settled.
Braecen could feel her power, witnessing her strength as a force-wave struck out from the young girl screaming down on her knees the Consul explained there own presence here. He revealed the truth about the Dark Brotherhood and that with help she could turn this pain into great power. Knowing this is everything she wanted, power and a new start the girl accepted this offer. In order for this madness to stop, Cassandra laid down her weapon due to the journeyman’s superior strength in battle. Captured in her own madness she was brought to her master, Cethgus. After the events cooled down, she tied her allegiance back to Plagueis. On the day of her birthday, the girl had turned into a young adult at the age of 18. And then as if it were a present, she was awarded the rank of Dark Jedi Knight.
