History
The Praxeum was formed soon after the Brotherhood Civil War and Windos’ return from voluntary exile to Clan Arcona.
Mission
The aim of the Praxeum is to train an elite team of dark siders, adept in many areas such as piloting, ground combat and intellectual pursuits.
Leadership
The Praxeum administration consists of one Commander and two Flight Leaders.
Commander
Terms of the Commander
The Commander will run one long competition and three short competitions every fifteen days. If the Commander is unable to start these competitions they will request that one of the Flight Leaders start it with full approval.
Furthermore, the Commander will maintain a minimum of forty-eight hour email turn around, unless leave has been requested.
Duties of the Commander
The Commander will keep all members up to date on what competitions are open to them and will encourage activity however possible.
The Commander will make fortnightly Battle Team reports.
The Commander will help the membership of the Praxeum in any way he can.
The Commander will enforce the ‘Terms of the Flight Leader’
Flight Leader
Terms of the Flight Leader
As Flight Leaders will serve as an example to the membership of the Praxeum they will be under constant AWOL checks. Fifteen days of no contact (the length of one character development competition) will result in the immediate removal of the Flight Leader, unless prior arrangements are made.
Furthermore, Flight Leaders must be able to participate in at least one Battle Team level competition every fifteen days, unless prior arrangements are made. Failure to participate or request leave will result in the immediate removal of the Flight Leader.
Duties of the Flight Leader
Although not necessary, Flight Leaders should try to supply the Commander of the Praxeum with one competition idea a month.
Where ever possibly, Flight Leaders should check the dossiers of the membership of the Praxeum against the promotion guidelines on the Clan Tarentum website, here. And if they believe a promotion (or to a lesser degree, medal) is deserved the Flight Leader should email the Commander of the Praxeum as well as the Quaestor and Aedile of House Gladius.
Competitions
At any one time there is always two competitions running for members of the Praxeum to compete in.
