Ateliuc is a planet that resides in the Kr'Tal System, currently under control by Taldryan. It is the sixth orbit of Kr'Tal, the system's star, and is a completely unapproachable gas giant due to it's frequent ion storms.
History
Ateliuc is marked with concentric bands of alternating light and dark gases. It is notable for the three dark storm cyclones that dot the Equator. While containing gases similar to Altur with precious value both monetarily and strategically to the House, regular ion storms in the planet’s upper Atmosphere makes approaching impossible.
Three private vessels belonging to Jedi and one House ship are known to have been the victim of this disturbance, while many more missing ships and personnel are suspected to have met their end here as well. Akin to something like a Dreighton Triangle, pilots and helmsmen steer clear of Ateliuc heedless of House Regulations preventing such action.
The thin planetary ring around Ateliuc’s poles is suspected to be the sole remnant of an ancient moon or moons.
