Arvavlis Tythus is the current Captain of Messiah Squadron, a squadron of TIE Advanced attached to Wing IV of the Arcona Expeditionary Force.
Character History
Early Life
Born on a calm spring morning, Arvalis Tythus Highsail was born into a middle-class family. His mother stayed at home to care for her child whilst his father worked as a squadron pilot for the Arcona Expeditionary Force. Arvalis was given the name after his mother heard the story of an Anzat who refused to give into his monstrous ways. Arvalis always loved fiddling with cogs and gadgets as a child, and he always came home covered in motor oil or carrying some scrap from the scrapyard. As Arvalis grew, his mother gave him a great present for his birthday and entered him into the Estle Flight Academy located in Giletta Spaceport. The Selenian sparked ahead of his class and enjoyed every area he was introduced to. From the dogfighting simulations to the command consoles from the Star Destroyers. He excelled in all areas of hazard perception and flight theory. Eventually he was given the chance to fly a real X-Wing and impressed even Captain Bly. The experienced veteran assisted the young pilot by permitting his advanced classes. In 38 ABY, Arvalis graduated from the officer's academy and took control of Messiah Squadron.
Arcona Expeditionary Force
The Passing
News travels fast in Estle and a letter quickly reached Arvalis to say that a squadron of pilots clashed with Taldryans in a friendly race, and some lives were lost due to a solar flare. This included Tythus, Arvalis' father. Enraged by the lack of safety, the young pilot trained further in the spaceport and wherever he could be permitted by the Captain in the hopes of one day being in war. In a foolish rage one night, Arvalis entered Taldryan space in Karufr. On this day he was captured by their forces and taken into questioning by the Proconsul Keirdagh Cantor. Quivering under the Master's power, the pilot showed his motives of crossing space and for revealing the truth, Keirdagh scarred his skin with the burned mark of the wolf, a sign to represent strong Arconan men. Arvalis now serves with this memory in mind as a rising star pilot.
Physical Description
Arvalis has the typical olive skin that most Selenians do, with furry arms and legs which he does not mind. Thick skinned and built heavily, his body has been trained in the flight school to withstand the beating of gravity, pressure and extreme temperatures. He proudly displays his cybernetic arms with pride, opting for them when he graduated as a pilot to quicken his reactions. His nose was broken twice by an drunk trooper in Port O'val once and he always gives himself a clean shave and a trim haircut. His eyes are sharp and a wooden brown, however his teeth have been flattened by his years of being a vegetarian.

- Arvalis took a class in combat strategies once in the newest Nebula Class Destroyer owned by Clan Arcona.
