Character History
Early Life
Zednich Wolfram was born on the farming planet of Taanab. Taanab is a terrestrial planet with one moon covered in large grassy fields and numerous waterways. His father got into trouble with the Hutts and accrued a large amount of gambling debt. To save his life Zed's father brokered a deal with Lago the Hutt. Zednich was given to the Hutt at the age of sixteen and groomed into being an elite prize fighter in the Hutt's pit fighting league. Zednich wasn't a true slave but he received no prize money, and if he refused to fight his father would be executed. Zed was trained by a wookie named Chuck-tuckle-lukluk. Chuck was a former pit champion himself before loosing an eye and the wear on his body became too much. The wookie trained the human to be a killer and how to survive in the pit. After winning some high profile fights Zednich earned the moniker "The Wolf." Zednich's mother still lives on a small Tannab farm raising animals. He visits his mother, but does in secret. With all his enemies in the galaxy, he does not want any one following him to her home. If any enemy were to harm Zed’s mother, they would face a wrath never before seen.

The Wolf was shipped from planet to planet in Hutt Spacee to battle in main events. His most notable wins were against a wampa and small gundark. Zed's body is covered in scars from the years of battling. The Fist Valhavoc came to one of the matches and saw The Wolf kill a vicious barabel named Teeram. The Fist was so impressed he found Zednich after the match to talk to him. During their discussion Valhavoc sensed the Force was with The Wolf and gave him the coordinates to the Shadow Academy. Zed was honored and discussed his release terms with Largo the Hutt. Zednich's father had died recently in a farming accident, so he felt his deal with the Hutt had been completed. Largo wasn't willing to let his prize fighter simply walk away though. The two agreed that if Zednich won the first ever Grand Pit Fighting Tournament he would be free from his father's arrangement. Zednich slaughtered and massacred his way through the tournament earning his freedom as champion.
37 ABY - Present Day
Darth Plagueis Urn
Zed joined the Dark Jedi Brotherhood during the Dark Crusades. During his time at the Shadow Academy Zednich excelled. Valhavoc wanted to see if the Sith was worthy of being his apprentice and sent him on a special mission. Zed was sent to Iridoniato retrieve a piece the urn that held the remains of Darth Plagueis. The urn clip was on the top of a mountain which Zed had to climb. At the start of the mountain trail Zed battled three Zabraks which he killed. Once reaching the top of the mountain Zed was met by an unexpected surprise. A fellow Shadow Academy student named Ski, who wanted to be Valhavoc’s apprentice as well. Her plan was to kill Zednich and take the piece of urn back to Val becoming his apprentice. Zed suffered burns on his neck from Ski’s Force shock attack. Zed killed Ski by cutting her legs off and using the Force to push her into an acid pit.

To prove he was ready to become a Dark Jedi Knight The Fist sent Zed on a mission to chased down a demented Jedi Knight named Xirpoc to Ziost. Xirpoc was a corrupt Jedi selling Jedi and Republic military secrets. When the Republic was closing in on Xirpoc he orchestrated an ambush on Athiss to fake his own death. The Dark Jedi Brotherhood needed to make sure Xirpoc was silenced and would not betray them. Zed and Xirpoc had their final showdown at Ajunta Pall's Citadel. Zednich carved his way through eight platoons of Churhee's Riflemen guarding Xirpoc. He stealthily killed only the riflemen required to meet his objective. Zednich proved himself to his Master and killed Xirpoc by cutting off his head with the Jedi's own lightsaber. Zed suffered heavy internal injuries and dislocated bones from his battle. His success was rewarded by being made a Dark Jedi Knight.
After numerous missions for Clan Plagueis Zednich felt he needed to change the path he was on. Zed reached out to the Jedi and was welcomed into Clan Odan-Urr.

Zednich is a lone wolf. He fights honorably but will kill ruthlessly.

Zed carries a Heresy style lightsaber with a blue blade. Along with his lightsaber he carries brass knuckless from his pit fighting days. Zed is proficient in K'tara and Dulon martial arts.

Zednich Wolfram is named after a mineral called Wolframite. The chemical formula for Wolframite is (Fe,Mn)WO4. It is an iron manganese tungstate mineral. The minerals Ferberite, Huebernite, and Scheelite make up the wolframite series. This series of minerals are the most important tungsten ore minerals.
