Dismal wanted to be a skilled warrior, so his father hired various Pilots and Weapon Experts to hone the skills of Dismal. Dismal spent most of his days learning the secrets of sparring and piloting, and hand to hand combat. He was a very skilled warrior indeed by the age of 10. Dismal lived happily for the next few years of his life. Hunting local fauna, sparring with his old man, life was good. But, this was soon to change.

[[Enriton]] wasn’t even a part of the Galactic Empire. Saudu slowly built up the system into the semi-utopia that it became when his son was born. |

| ===A Change of Life===
| | The mother, was named Siala Visutor, was the faithful wife to Saudu. She was more of a peaceful human. Siala stayed in the palace, assisting the maids in housework, stuff of that nature. She also did light paperwork, as she was Executive President in charge of the Royal Banking Service, or RBS. Life was good for the couple. They lived a life of luxury, and they had their first and only child. |
| When Dismal was 13, a fledging man, something terrible happened to his father. Scientists had been experimenting with chemicals to make a cure for a disease that had been spreading the last couple of weeks. The team failed miserably, resulting in a slimy, radioactive toxic waste. The scientists went into the canopy of the heavy woods that engulf Enriton, to dispose of the failed experiment. What they did not know, was that they had poured this toxic waste on the base of the tree containing the Royal Palace. Dismal and his mother were out having dinner on one of the local restaurants, but Count Saudu had to stay at home and finish some paper work. Dismal's father died a slow death that evening, and when Dismal and his mother returned home that evening, the two found the corpse of the Count lying on the floor in his office. The two were crushed.

| After many greiving visitor's and family, the need for a new Count arose. Instead of automatically coronating the heir, as is tradition, the citizens had an election, seeing as the heir was young. This did not crush Dismal's want to have his father's position, as he ran for this prestigious office. Dismal was soon about to be crushed for the second time in his young life.
| | Dismal lived a normal infancy and early childhood. As he became older, he started to miss a male figure in his life. Saudu was almost always away to the other planets in the system, and on the rare occasions he was on the core planet, he was almost always away on business trips to random headquarters of organizations and businesses. What time he spent with his wife and son, was good though. Dismal enjoyed going to the operas and shows, or just playing swoopball with his father. However, Dismal made friends with a butler that lived in the servants quarters of the Royal Palace, named Ric Valen. Ric became a father figure for Dismal, whose only influence was his mother. |

| Dismal's competitor, General Saito, won the election, because Enriton's citizen's thought they could not leavy their lives in the hands of a 13 year old. General Saito gladly took this position, of which he envied his old friend Saudu for attaining. Saito did not keep his promise to lead in the ways of the late count, as he ruled with an Iron Fist, basically turning the system into a dictatorship. He also took everything the Saudu owned, even his wife. | | When Dismal turned ten years of age, he became interested in piloting and the art of combat. Saudu had the Enriton Engineering Corps repair it to almost like new, and gave it to Dismal when he got to see him. That was the happiest day of Dismal’s life. He named it [[The Gamerunner]], and started to modify it to make it his own, perfect starship. |

On one of his rare trips to the city, Dismal dined at a place known as "Retre's Diner", and an accident let loose. The droid waitress had brought him the wrong food, and he got angry, and used the force to knock the plate over. Laigerick was assigned [[House Tridens]] of [[Clan Tarentum]]. Dismal was assigned to [[House Exar Kun]] of [[Clan Plagueis]]. Laigerick spent a few days there, but then requested a transfer to [[Clan Plagueis]]. Their friendship remains even today. |
