Blue Mist Squadron is attached to BAC Darkest Night and is one of three other squadrons under the command of Cethgus Tiberius Entar Arconae a squad capable of carrying out nearly any general operation or mission for Clan Arcona, although it often serves as a bomber escort. Due to losses suffered during Horizons, the squadron was inactive between 36 ABY and 38 ABY, due to a lack of fighters available.
History
One of the newest squadrons established and commanded by Remi Bracxor in 28ABY to be one of the complementary wings of the BAC Darkest Night serving House Galeres. Originally a Battle Team (see Blue Mist (Battleteam)) who specialized in attack, defense and reconnaissance they have now been re-fitted as a Squadron to meet the needs of House Galeres.

Notable Members
Remi Bracxor has been in command of Blue Mist Squadron for a relatively short time, however, whilst being in command has managed to improve all subordinates education and skills. Although an effective leader, at times he has managed to rack up a high mortality rate within the Squad, this is offset by the high success rate, accepting that only the best will survive long.
Second in Command is Éibhlín Rashiat, who with exception to Remi Bracxor’s son Zafer Bracxor has the longest serving record within the Blue Mist Squadron. Famed for her ability to perform risky maneuvers and missions; she has made a name for herself for taking risks.
Mission
To provide protection to the BAC Darkest Night from enemy bombers and enemy Starfighters.
Action
Saw action in the recent events of the Dark Crusade, providing a fighter screen for the BAC Darkest Night against any naval forces the One Sith are able to muster.

Equipped with T-65XJ3 X-wing starfighter an improved Starfighter compared to the team’s original short ranged Starfighter the A-9 Vigilance Interceptor. The improved Starfighter boasts backup shield generators, improved targeting, maneuverability, and avionics and unlike the A-9 doesn’t have certain structural weaknesses.
