| Orenth's particular prediliction for administration stems from the variations exibited by all of the DAC troopers produced by the program that was launched 27 ABY. While the DAC troopers all came from the same original prime clone they are not entirely identical. Each exhibits a number of individual traits, having been allowed to maintain a degree of independence compared to the regular DSOG troopers. The method of cloning employed also causes the clones to exhibit various phenotypes, leading to a certain amount of inherent variation between them such as hair and eye color. Captain Orenth is still, however, a more than capable soldier, retaining the same combat and tactical skills inherent in each of the DAC troopers. | | Orenth's particular prediliction for administration stems from the variations exhibited by all of the DAC troopers produced by the program that was launched 27 ABY. Delta-32, or D-32, was a captain in the Dlarit Special Operations Group. D-32 was one of thirty four Delta-class Advanced Commandos grown in secret on Gamuslag in 27 ABY. D-32 was given the name Orenth after his designation. When the DACs first entered service in 28 ABY, Orenth was assigned as Adjutant to Senior Commander Sai Keibatsu, the Sadow Palace prefect.
Biography
Captain Orenth was assigned to be Adjutant to the Sadow Palace prefect by virtue of being the first one Sai Keibatsu saw after the rest of Clan Naga Sadow's Summit had their own picks; it couldn't have been a better choice for Sai, as the Captain's own sense of propriety and military decorum matches his own. As such, Captain Orenth is the only one that Sai trusts to act in his stead concerning the affairs of governing the Palace in his absence.
Orenth's particular prediliction for administration stems from the variations exhibited by all of the DAC troopers produced by the program that was launched 27 ABY.
Behind the Scenes
The name Orenth comes from the 32nd letter in the Aurabesh alphabet after Delta-32's numerical designation.
Sai refers to him as "Oren" in private; of the Palace staff, Captain Orenth is one of only two people that is allowed to address Sai as "Senior", an abbreviation of his rank of Senior Commander.
While many Humans and Force-users view clones with an air of contempt, Sai treats Captain Orenth with respect and a measure of admiration; as D-32 never complains about his lot and is free with unbiased advice and council, Sai realizes his fortune in having a loyal resource such as Orenth under his command.
