Commonly known as Equite 1 or EQ1, this is the ninth rank in the Dark Brotherhood, which is awarded after demonstrating above and beyond performance as a Dark Jedi Knight. It is the first rank in the Equite class and the first step down the path to Dark Side Adept.
House Summits, Rollmasters and Proconsuls have the authority to promote members up to this rank.
Ranks
Upon promotion by your Clan Summit, you will reach one of five Equite ranks based on your Order.
Sith Order: Warrior
Dark/Gray Jedi Order: Mystic
Jedi Order: Peacekeeper
Loyalist Order: Major
Mercenary Order: Privateer
History
The first Equite rank has a stable history in terms of the Sith and Krath names for the rank. However, the Obelisk name began as Obelisk Warrior, which got replaced briefly by the unpopular Obelisk Champion. It was replaced only weeks later by the present Obelisk Templar, which began existence as the Obelisk name for the fourth Equite rank.
Below are ranks for Equite 2 based on the Orders before the introduction of the new Orders. These are no longer available nor used in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, but are shown anyways for documentation.
