- "In the beginning, there was only darkness... and blood. When we awoke, we feasted on that one, and awakened... fighting the countless nameless voices that tear in our mind. Yet we live on..."
- ―Shan Long
Shan Long was once known as Trevarus Caerick. When the Dragon Ascended, he consumed the Master Sadow's soul, thus uniting what had been separated. He is cold, calculating, and distant. He moves with a brutal efficiency that reminds those of his past as the venerable and pedagogical Caerick. Yet, there remains the prophetic bloodlust for which Shan Long was renowned. After the events at Lehon, few members of the Brotherhood know how to react when confronted with this Engima and his prophetic insight.
