Maximus Mandalore is only Mandalorian to attain the power of the Force through artificial means. He survived his early years to meet Darth Sinistros, and not only survive, but become a powerful Dark Jedi in the process. Maximus proudly founded the Mandalore family in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and paved the way for it to spread its influence as a valuable asset to his dark masters.
After attempting to assassinate Grand Master Muz Ashen, he was brutally murdered during the Tenth Great Jedi War.
History
Childhood Years
Maximus was born to wealthy Mandalorian parents on the planet Judecca. His father worked as a successful bounty hunter while his mother remained on Judecca to take care of little Maximus.
During this time, Darth Sinistros was searching for a way to create Force Sensitive Mandalorians. He had already tried unsuccessfully to influence the midichlorians in adults and decided to attempt the procedure on children instead.
Sinistros found Maximus by researching the Mandalorian Clan bloodlines and discovered a child there on Judecca. It was simple for the powerful Sith to engineer an "accident" that resulted in Maximus's parent's deaths. Sinistros simply bided his time and waited until the local police left the boy alone and snatched him away and fled the planet in favor of a more remote location.
Life Under a Dark Jedi
Maximus awoke to find the terrifying Sinistros hovering over him, his face hidden by the bright surgery lights above his head. The boy was lucky since Sinistros took advantage of Maximus's comatose state and administered the midichlorian-altering drug. Other than a faint buzzing at the back of Maximus's skull, the boy felt fine. He could even feel the faint sense of approval from his kidnapper, but later felt that he had simply been imagining things.
Deciding that the boy needed training in both his Mandalorian heritage and in the Force, Sinistros left Maximus with Tiberius, patriarch of the Tang'va dynasty and the self-proclaimed emperor of Kamino Prime.
Tiberius was a harsh teacher, but a fair one. He trained Maximus in the secret arts of Shadow Stalking, a form where one took advantage of both the Force and the stalking abilities of the user.
Maximus stayed with Tiberius until he reached the age of eighteen standard years and left Kamino Prime for life outside the planet's atmosphere. He went to the Mandalorian homeworld of Concord Dawn and met Makurth Mandalore's future mother.
Maximus spent several months on Concord Dawn, earning the right to bear Mandalorian armor and dating Makurth's mother. After Maximus succeeded in The Seven Trials of Mandalore, he left Concord Dawn, and unknowing left a pregnant woman in his wake. He would not know of the existence of his son until the boy joined the Dark Brotherhood nearly twenty years later.
Maximus scoured the galaxy, hunting bounties and working for various bosses until he earned enough credits to by a FireSpray and work freelance. Eventually he learned of his direct lineage to Mandalore himself and bided his time until he could found a new segment of a Force Sensitive Mandalorian family.
He tried several times on different planets, but the results were the same. Each time the Mandalore family rose, some other threat would completely obliterate the small group. He would later discover that it was his own son destroying these splinters of the Mandalore family line.
Destruction of the Tang'Va
Maximus returned to Kamino Prime in time to witness the destruction of the Tang'va and Tiberius at the hands of Muz Ashen Keibatsu. Maximus was discovered and captured by Muz and taken before the Dark Jedi Brotherhood's Grand Master. There it was decreed by the Dark Council that Raidoner would be integrated into Clan Arcona. The Arconans taught Maximus the skills of combining starship combat with his Force abilities.
The Founding of the Mandalores
Maximus later took on an apprentice and met his son, Makurth "Zak" Mandalore and often the two of them teamed up for missions and Clan battles. The two would later go on and create the Mandalore Family with Raidoner as Patriarch.
Maximus scouted for prospects both in the galaxy and in the Brotherhood to join his Mandalorian family. They began to grow quickly and became a force of their own in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.
Neither father or son suspected how deep the secrets of their family ran and there were a few that the Mandalores themselves were unaware of. Luckily, none of these secrets were lethal to the young family and the patiently awaited the return of Darth Sinistros and help the Dark Lord reclaim the galaxy in the name of the Sith.
A Fated Contract
Years after leaving Brotherhood space and going into relative exile, Maximus and his blood were called to action, a rather over-priced contract offered by a Kriss Klitho to return to Brotherhood space at the front of a Column of brothers from Clan Ordo. His knowledge of Brotherhood tactics and material would prove useful to their effort, and Raidoner jumped at the chance to twist a blade into old enemies.
Arriving in New Tython Space during the Tenth Great Jedi War, Maximus shot down numerous ships himself before seeing the Fallen Spear. Unable to resist the temptation, Raidoner boarded the ship with several of his prized soldiers, fighting his way through Nihilgenia and Guardsmen to reach the bridge.
There, he found Muz Ashen, now Dark Lord of the Sith. Raidoner refused to give answers to the initially calm Grand Master when asked about his employers. Muz's blade quickly tore Maximus' head from his shoulders, ending the Mandalorian's life.
Home of the Mandalores
The Mandalores searched for years to find their place of origin and after it seemed like they would never discover the answer, a young member stumbled across it in the Cocytus System. This led the family to the Clan Scholae Palatinae. After explaining their reasons to the Clan Summit, the Mandalores were allowed to vigilantly protect their new Clan.
Personality
Maximus is rather even tempered for a Mandalorian and displays the typical Mandalore father's attributes to fellow family members. He is willing to patiently hunt for information in the worst of situations and wait for his brothers to reach the same conclusion that he has.
As a leader, Maximus has little patience for fools and has no trouble eliminating those who are from his family.
DJB Facts
Positions Held
Raidoner has held Squad Leader positions in Arcona, Naga Sadow and in Scholae Palpatine. He is currently Galaxies Tribune and has held that position for nearly 3 years.
Raidoner single handedly picked up the pieces of the DBPA after the former Baron had disbanded it. As a result of the disbandment, many players quit the PA and went off to other guilds and even other servers.
Raidoner, with the help of Colney Wolf(DB Member) and Damor Marlrovian,(galaxies recruited DB member) began to recruit at the Bestine starport, Tattooine. As many newly arrived Imperial hopefuls began to arrive, hope rose and thus began the founding of Ragnos Stronghold, Correlia.
What began with only 3 left has now surpassed 95 active guild members, introducing the Dark Jedi Brotherhood to many SWG players and vice versa.
Raidoner went on to found the SWG Shadow Council, a system where no one member can decide to dissolve the PA and where the group would be led by 3 different people.
Today the DBPA has 3 cities in the Scylla server, Corellia, Dantooine and Talus, and has also expanded to the Tempest server as well.
