Equite 1 (Warrior/Mystic/Peacekeeper/Major/Privateer), commonly known as EQ1, this is the ninth rank in the Dark Brotherhood, which is awarded after demonstrating above and beyond performance as a Knight/. It is the first rank in the Equite class and the first step down the path to Dark Side Adept.
House Summits, Rollmasters and Proconsuls have the authority to promote members up to this rank.

History

However, the Obelisk name began as Obelisk Warrior, which got replaced briefly by the unpopular Obelisk Champion. It was replaced only weeks later by the present Obelisk Templar, which began existence as the Obelisk name for the fourth Equite rank.
