The Vigrian rainforest, sometimes also known as Vigronia or the Vigrian jungle, is an isolated stretch of tropical forest on Aeotheran. Due to its location in the Nifokalija Continent on the outskirts of the Nifokalija mountain range, the Vigrian region has remained largely untouched by the mining operations of the Dlarit Corporation which are found elsewhere on the planet. The rainforest is home to some of the planet's most dangerous natural predators, not least some of the mistmakers that on occasion are known to come down from the mountains in search of unsuspecting prey. The region's one and only centrepiece is the Bastion, an ancient black stone fortress of unknown origin, which has remained hidden under the jungle canopy for millennia—thanks, not in a small part, to the area's underlying dark side energies that cloud Force senses, rendering the area invisible even to Force-users.
