The Temple of Darkness was the newest built of the Temples of Orian. With construction started The New Temple was offset from the site of the former Palace of Orian in an effort to preserve the history of the Clan. While it does not serve all the same purposes as once did the former ruling seat of Clan Naga Sadow, it was largely used as the base of operations for the sitting Consul of the Clan. Then-Overlord Bentre Sadow declared the temple to be built in a manner like that of the Massassi temples on the moon of Yavin IV. It was the first of a series of new structures built by the Consul, as part of a plot to focus the dark side energies of the planet in a way previously unachieved on the planet.
In 39 ABY construction of the temple was completed.
History
The Temples of Orian were constructed over five thousand years ago during the reign of Marka Ragnos in the days of the old Sith Empire. The temples were positioned in a heptagram around the central palace. Each temple was devoted to one of the seven tenets of the Final Way. Through focusing the power of the dark side through the temples, Urias Orian hoped to make himself immortal.
Though the Temple of Sorrow was once arguably in the best state of repair over the whole of the temples, it fell into disuse as the seat of government for the Sadowan Clan. The attack by the Collective in 36 ABY had left much of the sections of the temple in varying states of ruin. Additionally,The Collective had destroyed much of the ornamentation of the Clan's palace, and had attempted to ensure the temple would go unused.
These events help to kick off the events that would lead to the construction of the Temple of Darkness. The Dark Side, the Consul declared to absolute, and used the temple as a focusing point of Dark Side energy on the planet already present.

Barracks
In the barracks, a detachment of the Warhost serve on the planet's surface. The barracks also have a place for the active Black Guard to stay while they are on the planet Sepros, affording them every need and many comforts otherwise difficult to obtain in the Seprosian jungles. They are placed next to the ranges for easy excess to training. Ranges are state of the art and carry only the best in fire power.
