Led by Commander Hobs Terin, Bolt Squadron is one of House Hoth's main special forces groups. The pilots were chosen for their abilities in both piloting a starfighter and at least one other useful skill. While the squadron is within the Odan-Urr United Space Command it sometimes answers directly to the Clan Odan-Urr summit.
History

Bolt Squadron was formed in 30 ABY as a training squadron for one class of that year's recruits. It was formed as a Z-95 headhunter squadron but was changed to an E-wing squadron near the end of the training cycle. Instead of the newly trained pilots being dispersed into other squadrons Bolt Squadron was made into a military unit and kept assembled. They served until 34 ABY when all but one of the squadron's pilots were killed during Fall of New Tython. The squadron was disbanded and the last surviving member, then Lieutenant Commander Hobs Terin, was promoted to Commander and given an A-wing squadron called Signate Squadron to command.
Over the next decade Commander Terin would lead Signate Squadron but always miss his first group. He would also reject promotions routinely, preferring to continue to fly fighters until he was made to stop. In early 44 ABY Signate Squadron was on a covert operation and while they were there the base that housed their A-wings was destroyed. Terin saw this as his chance to reform his original unit and requested that instead of A-wings, he be supplied E-wings and for the name of the squadron to be changed. His request was neither accepted nor denied for the next month leaving the squadron without any ships to fly. When he confronted officers about this, he was tolt to accept a promotion and move on. Finally, he demanded his request be met and just six weeks before The Siege of Cor'neria the squadron was supplied. During the siege the newly reformed Bolt Squadron lost all but four pilots.
Bolt Squadron is currently undergoing the training of newer recruits. Eight of the fourteen members have only been in a few engagements and another two, while experienced, are recent additions to the squadron.

Commander Hobs Terin
Species: Human Male

Biography: Hobs Terin was born on New Tython and has served the Odan-Urr military since 30 ABY. He was part of the group that made up the original Bolt Squadron at its inception and is the last surviving member of the original squadron. He is a veteran of many conflicts in Clan Odan-Urr's history and has been under many different commands. He commanded a squadron called Signate Squadron in the time between the disbandment and reconstruction of Bolt Squadron. He was the one to reform Bolt Squadron just a few weeks before the siege of Cor'neria where he lost over half of his squadron. At 42 years old standard time he is among the oldest fighter pilots in the O.U.S.C. and has been eligible for promotion for over a decade.
Executive Officer Treath Da'ler

Callsign: “Bolt Two”
Secondary role: slicer
Biography: Treath Da'ler is Bolt Squadron's Executive Officer, he was promoted from lieutenant commander during the reconstruction of Bolt Squadron. He is an ace pilot and expert slicer. Da'ler has served under Commander Terin since he joined the Odan-Urr military in 38 ABY. He was born on Solyiat.
Junior Lieutenant Sarik
Species: S'kytri Male
Age: 18
Callsign: “Bolt Three”
Secondary roles: Field Mechanic, Force User
Biography: Sarik is a red S'kytri, though he remembers very little about his people. He was 'adopted' by a pirate gang that was made up of Trandoshans and Weequay. He was treated as a slave and taken in by Hobs Terin when Signate Squadron destroyed the pirate stronghold he was living in. He knows four languages though he cannot speak any of them very well, he knows a very incomplete version of the S'kytri language, understands but cannot speak Trandoshan and Wookie, and speaks basic almost fluently. He joined The Odanite United Defense Force Flight Academy at 16 and graduated two years later in 44 ABY. While the O.U.S.C. has the usual military rule that family members may not be in the same unit, Terin never officially adopted Sarik allowing them to serve together.

Biography: Daric Idson is a Human from Solyiat who trained in the O.U.S.C. Flight Academy. He was chosen for Bolt Squadron due to his training as a medic.
Lieutenant Commander Jan Harvis
Species: Human Male
Age: 29
Callsign: “Bolt Five”
Secondary Role: Investigation, Clandestine Operations
Biography: A Corellian and former member of The Corellian Sercurity Force (CorSec), Jan Harvis and his CorSec partner Bart Gordo both moved from Corellia to the Kiast System. Jan joined the O.U.S.C. in 39 ABY and has been serving under the command of Commander Terin since 41 ABY. He joined Signate Squadron and is one of only four pilots still living who were part of the squadron. While he was chosen for Bolt Squadron more because he was already under the command of Commander Terin, his training from CorSec has been invaluable to the squadron.
Lieutenant Orv Aabor
Species: Mon Calamari Male
Age 31
Callsign: “Bolt Six”
Biography: Orv Aabor was born on the planet of Mon Cala and became a freight pilot at a young age. He joined the O.U.S.C. in 39 ABY and was in the same training class as Jan Harvis. The two of them have been assigned to the same unit consistently since they finished training and have become great friends. While he was chosen for Bolt Squadron because he was already under the command of Commander Terin, his incredible communications skills are very valuable to the squadron.
Junior Lieutenant Bart Gordo
Species: Human Male

Callsign: “Bolt Seven”

Biography: Bart Gordo joined the O.U.S.C. a few years later than his CorSec partner. He began training in 42 ABY after failing to find anyone in Is Brea who would hire a former CorSec agent. He joined at the request of Commander Terin and his friend Jan Harvis with the promise that if he graduated, he would be placed under Terin's command. He graduated second of his class in the flight academy behind only Dokau, and was placed in Two Flight three days after his graduation. He joined the squadron a few weeks after the Siege of Cor'neria.
Airman Chaux Cireg
Species: Deveronian Male

Callsign: “Bolt Eight”
Biography: Chaux Cireg was part of the same class as Bart Gordo and has quickly become accepted in the tight knit Two Flight. He was born on Daleem and was chosen for a role in Bolt Squadron because of his experience with explosives.
Lieutenant Commander Eliwufe'en'ofmo
Species: Chiss Male
Age: 26 physically, 82 chronologically
Callsign: “Bolt Nine”
Biography: Eliwufe'en'ofmo, or Eeno as most people call him, is one of very few Jedi who survived The Great Jedi Purge. He was frozen in cryostasis in 12 BBY and thawed in 44 ABY. He was allowed into the O.U.S.C. with minimal training due to his history as a veteran of both The Clone Wars and The Galactic Civil War, though he was not part of any major battles in the civil war. He joined Bold Squadron just before The Siege of Cor'neria though he was pulled out of the squadron temporarily and was sent a few weeks early to scout the major strongholds of the planet. While Bolt Squadron was restructuring after the siege Eeno was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and made the leader of Four Flight. Commander Terin tasked Eeno with training the five other force users in Bolt Squadron in The Force.
Airman Torven Dal
Species: Twi'lek Male
Age: 36
Callsign: “Bolt Ten”
Biography: Called Torven'dal by other Twi'leks, Torven Dal was part of an earlier class than Bart Gordo and Chaux Cireg and graduated top of his class. He has a wife and three children, one fifteen-year-old, and twins who are both twelve, his family lives on whatever base he is assigned to if possible. He was moved to Bolt Squadron during its restructuring because he is force sensitive.
Junior Lieutenant Dokau
Species: Half Zabrak Half Mirialan Male
Callsign: “Bolt Eleven”
Age: 20
Biography: First of his class in flight academy Dokau was chosen for assignment in Bolt Squadron right out of training alongside Bart Gordo and Chaux Cireg. His mother was a nightsister and started to train him in her ways, but both of his parents were killed in a pirate raid of the station he lived on in 42 ABY. He began training that year and was chosen for Bold Squadron due to his force sensitivity.
Airman Jay Pinark
Species: Pantoran Male
Age: 32
Callsign: “Bolt Twelve”
Biography: Jay Pinark was part of the same fight class as most of the other new members. He was put within Bolt Squadron by The Sentinel Network (SenNet), partly to keep them informed of the actions of this many times covert squadron, and partly because he wanted to become a pilot. He was thoroughly trained to use The Force by SenNet and is very good with concealment and illusions. Commander Terin is the only other member of the squadron that knows he is a SenNet agent.
Arnid Vus
Species: Arkanian Male
Age: 24 biologically, unknown chronologically
Callsign: “Baet”
Biography: Arnid Vus was a collective experiment who rebelled against his masters. Created by, and a clone of, Titus Harrow, he was part of an experiment to make a long living, hyperintelligent species. He was highly deformed and required extensive cybernetic augmentation to be able to survive. Among the parts of his body that were replaced with cybernetics was the part of his brain that stores long term memory. He only remembers three years back and everything here is his current understanding of the situation.
Wrrlerr
Species: Wookiee Male
Age: 128
Callsign: “Baet”
Biography: Wrrlerr is an adult Wookiee who fought on Kashyyyk in The Clone Wars. He joined Bolt Squadron after being rescued by Treath Da'ler and swearing a life dept to the Bothan. He is tall even by Wookiee standards and is a very capable mechanic.
