2nd Legion: 101st Infantry

The 2nd Legion: Black Templars - 101st Infantry, is assigned to the Bastion Regiment within the Legions of Scholae Palatinae.

History

A gift from Emperor Palpatine unto his Palace Guard - Scholae Palatinae - the Stormtroopers were a power to be reckoned with; utilized as defenders of Byss & the military might of the Dark Lord. When the Reborn Dark Lord of the Sith was slain a second time, Byss shattered in the process, the Palace Guard extracted itself, taking the valuable military Legions in their Exodus.

Under the wisdom of Emperor Dakari, the Legions were re-activated during the Sixth Great Jedi War. A move meant to help counter the Clan's sudden spiral into the sixth, and final, placing amongst the Clans. With, then Grand Marshall, Braecen Kaeth's assistance, Dakari was able to organize his military force into a fast moving, easy to deploy unit that helped the ailing Clan surge from oblivion into an honorable Fourth Overall finish.

The Black Templars were a crucial element in the defense of the Red Faction's stand at the Underground Seas in the Jusadih System. The Black Templars Legion was, primarily, responsible for the designated firing zone 'Bravo' or FZ002. Tasked with engaging the vaunted forces of Naga Sadow - a rival Clan in the Dark Brotherhood - they succeeded in defending the rear vanguard and thwarting the enemy forces. Grasping an elusive victory for Scholae Palatinae that allowed the Royal Clan to secure their position over Clan Naga Sadow.

At the conclusion of the Great War the 2nd Legion - Black Templars - were assigned to the Bastion Regiment; previously known as the Caliburnus Defense Regiment. Formerly under the command of a Dark Jedi of Scholae Palatinae, the unit was abandoned when Prajna Berkana left to pursue the mysteries of the Force. Stepping down from Caliburnus Defense Regiment Command, Lt. General Jokieth Nabieratu filled the void and now acts as the Commanding Officer of the Black Templars.

Previously the First Sergeant of Alpha Company - the Gold Eagles - Nakaga still wears his Company's patch on his uniform. He is a skilled, intuitive interrogator that has funneled his darkest desires into his art - making him a man none willingly cross. Nakaga now holds the Enlisted Command of the Black Templars, augmenting the skills of the Lieutenant General in a most formidable way.

Equipment

Vastly different from its predecessors produced upon Kamino, the Stormtroopers of Scholae Palatinae are molded in Imperial fashion. Removed is the inferior equipment, color markings and Jango Fett clones - this is a new generation of enforcers, tied to a new Emperor's will. Their equipment has been vastly improved and their armor lacks traditional markings, conforming to the protocol of unity begat under Darth Sidious.
