Munesanzun Mitsukai Isradia, Archcount of Illas Yasroth of Family Isradia, and Quaestor of House Gladius of Clan Tarentum, apprentice to Vithril Isradia. Mune has long been drawn to the extraordinary, which has found him studying Necromancy both as a Krath in Clan Tarentum, and part of the Family known as Isradia that makes their home on Vardor. He is drawn deeper into darkness because of his affinity for that darkness, and the want to only learn more.

Character History

In the Beginning

File:Krma'at.jpg
Mune's home world; Krma'at, and its three moons.

Mune was born in approximately 9ABY, on his people’s home world of Krma’at (pronounced: K • or • maw • t). He was born ‘special’ into his culture, born with more than one tail, a defect in his genes, however, considered mythical within the culture of his people, the Ktsma’at (pronounced: K • its • maw • t). It is believed that those born with multiple appendages, tails to be exact, were gifted with special powers, and that they should be revered. Believed by most to be powerful "mahõtsukai", translated to "sorcerer".

Stigma was connected to his birth however, and the want of the monastery to take him into their embrace to educate him, like they did many special children. He was not, necessarily his father’s son, rather, the supposed product of his mother having been raped one evening. The birth of the boy with multiple tails only further disgruntled him, seeing him as a threat to his own power in the social structure of his people.

Fearing her husband’s retribution upon the boy, she willingly gave up her child to the priestesses of the shrine at the age of two, to be cared for, and raised by them; to have his gifts flourish. Her husband will have never found out that the boy was product of her love of another man, as opposed to rape as he suspected.

Flourish they did…

Progeny Amongst the Gifted

In his people, the Ktsma’at, those special born are taken to the religious faculties of the people and educated in the ways of mystics. Mune was no exception with his three tails. He was immediately immersed in training, learning to read by the age of three, he was soon being taught theories of mysticism and the art of weaving spells. His people were very superstitious, and believed strongly in the supernatural and magick. These were the principles Mune was taught, and grew in, and they allowed his powers to thrive.

They discovered, early in development, the child they had on their hands developed quickly, having a natural thirst for knowledge, and thriving on it. His telekinesis developed the quickest, having a natural talent for it, and became his specialty as training furthered.

At the age of six, sword training was made an addition to his education in book learning and exercising of powers. His training was focused in an art called Sword Dancing. He would be taught intricate motions and new ways of moving his body to become fluid and elegant in the way he used his sword. His natural dexterity lent itself well to the art, and made up for what he lacked in physical strength.

He only continued to grow…

Assassin

Mune had never met his parents until the age of ten, when his mother had visited the shrine to say prayer. The boy happened to be in the courtyard polishing the planks of the veranda, when she approached. Strangely enough, it was Mune who recognized her, a face he had seen many times in dream and nightmares.

“Mother?”

The vixen halted to gaze upon this boy before her, and became overwhelmed by tears. The moment her arms wrapped around him, he felt waves of overwhelming emotion… Anger, fear, hatred, pain… Why had she left him? He wondered. Then her husband stood glaring, knowingly, on the boy his wife’s arms were wrapped so tightly around. Those same emotions Mune had only moments before experienced, were written clearly on his father’s every feature.

Evening of the same day fell, when a figure shrouded in darkness snuck into the grounds of the shrine. The boy toiled in the gardens behind, and was found by he whom he never knew. The man came at him from the darkness, sword drawn, dusk glittered upon the wicked blade. Fear pierced the boy’s heart, then rage. Instinct took hold and he lashed out in rage at this man that dared dirty this place which had become his home. Walls… stepping stones, and grass became painted in crimson. The man stood in a daze, the scythe protruding grotesquely from his back, blade shown from his chest. With a mischievous grin, the boy watched the figure crumble to the ground in the clutches of death.

Departure

At the age of twelve, he left. With his adoptive sister, Cipher K'oranian Isradia, he left his home in search of “something more”. Something more meaning nothing other than more knowledge. He wished to learn more beyond what he could learn in the shrine, locked away from the rest of the world. He was never blamed for slaying his assailant, but he felt responsible… yet, felt no remorse for the murder. He protected himself… is what he was told, but… in his mind, was such force needed to protect himself? Inside, he knew it most likely was.

With Cipher, he left Krma’at, and lived on odd jobs for the years following, until Cipher was called by her dreams, into the presence of one Jonaleth Isradia. Mune accompanied her, and, thus, became a part of the Brotherhood, as a member of Clan Exar Kun, in House Byss. He fell under the tutelage of Master Vithril Isradia, and grew rapidly to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. He became a battle team leader, to later become a rollmaster, and Clan Envoy.

Mune left shortly after conflicts with Talon Jade. He broke connections to the Clan, yet, remained a strong member of his chosen family of Isradia. With influence from Arania, he joined Clan Scholae Palatinae. He soon became Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco, only to be forced to resign, at which time he left to join his present clan. Clan Tarentum.

New Beginnings

Mune's new home, and the one he has felt most comfortable in, the clan of Necromancers. Here, he finds himself immersed in the dark arts, enjoying access to tombs of literature and relics of the past, all connected to the dark arts in which they practice. He has taken to these arts with a strong fervor.

He became Quaestor of House Gladius after only a short time of being a member of the Clan, and works hard to maintain the House. He has a strong desire to make it grow, and thrive, and will not allow anyone in the way of his plans, and the plans of Tarentum.

Profiles

Physical Appearance

File:Munesanzun-human.jpg
Mune's human shape.

From head to toe, he is covered in pure white fur, looking well groomed without stain or blemish. Ears, overly tall upon his head are black tipped, with each of his three bushy tails having black tips of their own. His bushy tails are 1m in length.

Eyes of ghostly crystal blue are full of curiosity and arcane knowledge. They hold a constant need to gain more knowledge, to grow more, to become more. In them glint his affinity for the mystic arts, his affinity for arts long forgotten, or best forgotten, and the never breaking drive to push forward din his studies of them. His eyes, however, betray his immaturity, and his young age which he tries hard to conceal from those around him, not wishing to be judged on his age.

Mune moves with a fluid dexterity, honed from many years of guided training. He carried the name of “Sword Dancer” in the shrine he was raised in for a reason, a skill that takes much time to learn, guided by reflex and motion. It was this training that gained him the lithe form he still maintains. He may not be overly muscular, but every muscle is finely toned. Some would even say his shape is almost feminine… almost. He wears most regularly a pair of cloud grey trousers, and midnight indigo tunic. This is normally topped off with a deep black cloak that hides the lightsaber strapped to his upper left arm, and the sword sheathed at his back.

In human shape, Mune looks his young age, having shaggy white hair, just as eerie ghost blue eyes, and a very light complexion lacking of sunlight. He retains the same height and weight of his normal shape. It is in this form that black tribal markings can be seen traveling down from his naval down to his groin, then more markings on his lower back, looking to have some meaning. He keeps his fox ears, tails and claws in this shape.

Psychological Profile

What better word than "lustful" to describe his personality? He has a powerful lust for knowledge, a lust for new experiences, and a lust for a warm body against his own. Mune's lust for knowledge has carried him far, from studying tombs of Necromancy in the halls of Tarentum, to studying on Vardor within the libraries of Family Isradia, he thrives on all of it, and only serves to push him further. It is not just lust, however, that drives this particular need to learn more in general, it is his curiosity. Everything mystic is a curiosity to him, and, he wishes to grasp all theories and concepts surrounding mysticism, especially Necromancy; which is not of any surprise, seeing as his culture speaks a lot of life, death, reincarnation and the like.

Mune is very strong willed, and puts great trust in his own abilities to use the force, and the other gifts he has been trained in on his home world. He is a thinker, a student of the arts, a scholar. He is a secret assassin, a sorcerer, and an explorer... he is a walker between worlds. His body, strength wise and even constitution wise, is frail in most respects, and he must depend on his speed, but far more than that, his quick thinking, his wit; are all things he must depend on to survive. This has caused him to have a rather calculating mind in battle, one that reacts quick and be able to make snap decisions based on past experience.

He is also rather spiritual in nature, still taking time to go about regular rituals that he was taught growing up... from honoring the sun and moon, to honoring spirits and life itself. His emotions, to him, are his greatest asset, and he has learned to use the energy of his very emotions themselves.

Combat

Mune was trained to use his powers as effectively as possible. If powers could be used before a weapon, then he was taught not to hold back. They were gifts, to be used, and it was up to the user what to use them for. Mune’s specialty always lay in his telekinesis, and it is evident in how he’ll often default to it as his attack of choice. Whether warping the field of telekinesis he creates to form a barrier, or using it to create an explosion of telekinetic force… He has learned long and hard how to use the power at his disposal, to his advantage.

When it comes to weapons… Speed is his best friend. Mune lacks strength, and has learned that he cannot really over muscle most other combatants, so his the style in which he was taught, reflects such short comings. He was deemed a Sword Dancer in the shrine which he was raised. A Sword Dancer prizes his/her dexterity over all else… no strike is used at full force, rather, they’d use fast and fluid movements in an elegant dance to overwhelm the other combatant while at the same time, using the same motions to dodge and dance around the strikes of their enemy. Mune has learned also to put this to use with daggers, knives, and even a scythe.

Sword Dancing

"The Sword-Dancer combines swordmanship with showmanship, placing their life in danger to entertain the public for a few coins and some applause. To a Sword-Dancer, few can understand the thrill of being alive within flashes of sharp edges. They often claim that the ultimate weapon skill is to strike without drawing blood." ~taken from Jadeclaw, by Sanguine Productions LTD.

Mune has long been trained in the Sword Dancing art, both in use as a discipline, a style of combat, and for ceremonies. The sword he uses is very lightweight, so as to not impede his movements, and quite durable. The blade is 28 inches in length. The scabbard itself is impressively designed, actually much more than it seems from the outside. It is built with a pressure unit that firmly locks the sword in its casing. The first lock is when the sword is fully sheathed, the scabbard keeping the blade sharp, and working out any kinks or scratches in the blade itself. The second lock, when the trigger is activated, releases the sword an inch out of the scabbard, but keeping it locked firmly still (a standby persay, for the device). Pressure is released, and the third lock is released, letting the blade go completely. His scabbard is programmed with his genetic code, so only he may release the blade, the same blade he has been using since he grew up in the Shrine.

Strikes in Sword-Dancing are called the "Eight Breezes of the World", in itself, a maneuver. It represents the eight basic strokes that are the fundamentals of this style. Usually based on which would look better to the audience at the time; and aside from its very showy nature, it is also very deadly. Those trained in the art can usually see through the deceptive moves, as well as try to avert them.
