This document outlines the operations within House Marka Ragnos, specifically the duties of each leader and how they interact with the other leaders of the House. This document is updated only by the Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos.

Positions

The Quaestor

The Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos is the overall leader of the House. The overall duties of the Quaestor are House Continuity and Member Experience. He stands at the back and watches the action in front of him, delegating many of his responsibilities to subordinate leaders.

The Quaestor's specific duties include:

  • Monitoring the progress of all members of House Marka Ragnos, and including promotions and merit awards and higher in reports.
  • Tracking Equite and Elder activity
  • Developing subordinate leaders
  • Maintaining the fictional identity of the House
  • Promoting members Dark Jedi Knight
  • Administering House Mailing List(s)
  • Maintaining all HMR Wiki Pages
  • Awarding up to the Steel Cross
  • Welcoming new Members
  • Maintaining a 24 hour email turn around
  • Making competitions

The Aedile

The Aedile of House Marka Ragnos is the second in command of the House, and is training to potentially become Quaestor. The Aedile manages many of the day-to-day functions of the House. The overall duties of the Aedile are assisting the membership in their Trials and monitoring the Battleteams.

The Aedile's specific duties include:

  • Tracking of Medals, Promotions, Shadow Academy Exams, ACC matches and Competitions for all House members, and including all of it in their reports.
  • Oversight of the Night Raptors and Night Hawks
  • Promoting members Jedi Hunter
  • Awarding up to the Anteian Cross and to talk to the Quaestor if a member deserves a Steel Cross
  • Assisting in administering House Mailing List(s)
  • Assisting in maintaining all HMR Wiki Pages
  • Maintaining 24 to 48 hour email turn around
  • Welcoming New Members to the House
  • Making Competitions for the House

Battleteam Leader

The Battleteam Leaders of the Night Hawks are tasked with training members to, ultimately, attain the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Specific Duties of the Training Battleteam Leaders include:

  • Tracking member activity for Promotions
  • Recruiting active members from the House
  • Organizing high numbers of competitions
  • Promote members up to Proselyte
  • Awarding the Dark Cross
  • Making promotion recommendations to Aedile/Quaestor when appropriate when a member needs to be promoted to Protector and higher
  • Promoting new members to Novice
  • Maintaining the fictional identity of the Battleteam
  • Maintaining the Battleteam Wiki page

Flight Leaders

Flight Leaders are a discretionary position that may be used by any Battleteam Leader but have to get the approval first from the Aedile and Quaestor.

House Standing Orders

Standing Orders are directives from the current Quaestor, and remain in effect until rescinded.

Standing Order One

All Battleteam Leaders must run one House-Wide competition per month. Competitions must be approved by the Quaestor or Aedile prior to their commencement. This provides junior leaders with the ability to gain valuable leadership experience.

Any member desiring to run a competition for their Battleteam must first get permission from the Battleteam Leader. Members wishing to run a competition for the House must first gain permission from the Quaestor or Aedile.
