This program was outlined to help manage the increase of new members in Clan Naga Sadow, as well as develop and train these members to become productive members of the Brotherhood. Currently, House Marka Ragnos is testing a new version within the House. The clan wide program has technically been disbanded at present.

Training Battleteams: Jade Serpents and Night Raptors

The Training Battleteam is the basic training grounds of the Clan. After the immediate enlistment of the new member at the rank of NOV, the BTL will send regular emails to the member of the BT - outlining the rules, customs and activities in the House and Clan at large; as the member progresses, these emails will become longer, but less frequent. Those new members who are not active will be AWOLed out of the House. In the event that both Training BT’s become too crowded and is eventually full when new members arrive, another Training BT is to be opened, though this will only occur when both Training BT’s are full and people cannot be AWOLed to make room.

Sapphire Squadron and Night Hawks

Upon leaving the Training BT at their promotion to PRT, members have two choices. They either join the Sapphire Squadron or Night Hawks (depending which House they belong too), or expand into the House on their own. The leaders of Sapphire Squadron and Night Hawks will work as a standard BTL would, with weekly reports and attempts of contact with all his/her members. If they fail to do this to an acceptable standard, they will be removed and a replacement sought.

Clan Rollmaster

The Clan Rollmaster will serve as a "Wing Commander" over both Sapphire Squadron and Night Hawks. While not a direct "command" relationship, the Rollmaster does have slight advisory powers over both BT’s. The BTL’s are expected to work with the Rollmaster to develop the members of both teams. The RM must request permission from the House Summit before removing BTL’s, and it is recommended that the leader in question of removal be contacted with a plea of improving before action is taken upon him/her. The RM is also responsible to see that everything is being done in accordance with the Training Program.

House Summit

The House Summit of Marka Ragnos and Ludo Kressh work similarly to the Clan Envoy and Rollmaster, over viewing the BTL's and ensuring that the Training Program is being enforced; it is initially the responsibility of the Aedile ensure this, although everything concerning the BT’s is cleared with the Quaestor before being executed. The two House Summits’ should discuss the administration of the Program regularly with the Rollmaster.

Training Expectations

New Battleteam members should be emailed by their respective Battleteam Leader (CCing the RM, AED & QUA), as soon as they are assigned to the Battleteam:

  • Apprentices should be emailed every other day, until they complete their promotion requirements.
  • Novices should be emailed every three days, until they complete their promotion requirements.
  • Acolytes should be emailed every five days, until they complete their promotion requirements. A Master should also be found at this point to encourage and work with them until they are knighted
  • Protectors should be emailed every ten days, until they complete their promotion requirements. A Master should really be found at this point to encourage and work with them until they are knighted.
  • Guardians really need to be found a Master at this point to encourage and work with them until they are knighted.
  • The Aedile should assign every new NOV to the Training BT.
  • The Quaestor should email every member when they are promoted to PRT, and remove them from Training BT.

Battleteam Leaders should keep a spreadsheet or chart, outlining what tasks each member of their team has completed. This should be transferred from Sapphire Squadron and Night Hawks along with the member, so that each BTL knows exactly what has and hasn't been done, and what is still available. These lists should be included in the weekly reports, so that all of the leadership can archive them as well.
