"From The Ashes, We Rise."
History
The history of the Phoenix Phyle is a great one. There have been many leaders. From AED Aragon to the Krath High Priestess Alanna. The Phyle has bee through good, and bad times. The original name of the Phoenix Phyle was Flammae Spritus Sancti. Which translated to Flame Breath to Sanctify. No one knows when the Flammae Spiritus Sancti came into excistance but it is know that Marian was the Tetrarch of the Phyle at the time. Around 11 ABY Alanna became the Tetrarch of Flame Breath to Sanctify. She did not like the name of the Phyle as it was so she oped to change it to the Phoenix Phyle.
Early in 11 ABY Ektrosis, was still the last Independent House. I t was known as the Independent House Ektrosis. In the middle of the year Ektrosis joined a clan and became know as Ektrosis house of Taldryan.
In Fire Reborn
When Krath Priest Aragorn Unteminar became the Leader of the Phoenix Phyle, he brought back the old ways. Studying in every ritual of Phoenix, he revived the observance of the Rite of Initiation. Dark Jedi Master Alanna of Ektrosis was against it, insisting that the dangerous Initiation would endanger the lives of everyone in the Phyle. Heedless, Kragorn he entered the flames. The searing pain soon began to eat away his flesh. The immolated Priest made it through the flames and a blue flame erupted across his arm, showing that the Phoenix has accepted him as Flame Lord.
Below is the original Initiation of Aragorn Unteminar:
In Fire Reborn
Dry, hot wind blew over rocky planet of Deva. It was barren and volcanic, and of no importance to anyone; it seemed entirely devoid of life. Though black obsidian made of cooled lava shone on the sun with light of the diamonds and crystals thrown onto surface by numerous volcanoes, glinting in the sun. One shuttle-class craft flew low, only a few meters above planet surface. It headed toward the greatest of the volcanoes in the region, that was obviously active, dormant but sleeping uneasily. The shuttle went angled towards one particular point of the mountain; and just as it would have collided with the rocks, the doors to a concealed hanger parted, then closed immediately after the shuttle.
Piloting the shuttle was Aragorn Unteminar, Krath Priest and Member of House Ektrosis. Behind him was Alanna, Quaestor of House Ektrosis. Together they were going in the secret underground citadel of Phoenix Phyle. Aragorn flawlessly piloted through the dark tunnel, with a skill of an seasoned Imperial Pilot. He followed signs seemingly visible to his eyes only as he smoothly directed the shuttle. Those were signs of Phoenix Phyle, made so Phyle agents could navigate the dark cave, while intruders couldn’t. Finally, Aragorn spotted another black wall in front of him. As he came near it, the wall raised again, letting him fly into well-lit docking bay.
With a graceful turn of the shuttle, the craft landed. The shuttle doors hissed open and Aragorn stepped through. Ahead, he could see four people, dressed in the black robes favored by the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, with the bright red cloaks of Phoenix Phyle. Aragorn repeated their names to himself: “Jarla, Bubbles, Blitz and Krail.” He headed toward them. He could see Jarla stepping in front of others, waiting for him.
“Greetings, Aragorn,” said Jarla, raising her hand as a sign of greeting. “What brings you here?”
“I am sent here by Quaestor Alanna to take command over the Phyle and restore it to its former glory,” Aragorn replied. “I am beginning immediately. Lead me to the main room.”
Jarla nodded, then gestured to the others to head on.
With one part of his mind Aragorn noted that Alanna came behind him. The other part of his mind was focused on the numerous complex hallways he was led through. “This certainly is a great citadel,” he said, impressed with the length of the halls.
“Yes, it is,” said Blitz, who was walking ahead of him. “The entire side of the volcano was dug out and transformed into our stronghold. There is even one path that leads to the heart of the volcano and spiritual heart of this stronghold: a pool of molten lava. Many of us go there to meditate.”
“Interesting,” said Aragorn “I must have the plans of this stronghold.”
“You will have them,” Blitz nodded.
“What do you know about us, Aragorn?” Bubbles suddenly asked.
“I have studied everything about you. I know every ritual, every secret of the Phoenix,” Aragorn replied.
“And what do you plan to do?” Krail asked
“To return you to the old ways, Krail,” Aragorn smiled. “I will reestablish all the ancient rituals. Including the Rite of Initiation. I have heard you do not wear your medallions anymore because you cannot control their powers. From now on, you will always wear them. Soon, everyone will know the power of the Phoenix once again.”
“Reestablish the Rite of Initiation?” Alanna shouted in terror. “That is madness! Everyone will die!”
“I’ll prove otherwise,” Aragorn replied calmly. “I’ll prove it myself.”
Jarla stopped before large, ornate stone doors with beautiful carvings of fire on them. “We’re here,” she said simply.
Aragorn was naked. He left his Brotherhood robe lying on the floor, as he approached the marked spot in front of him. There a circle was carved in floor, and in that circle was carved a phoenix that spread its fiery wings. But that was only a carving; Aragorn felt no power in it.
“This fire will not be calmed again as long as I live,” he said. Then he started to recite words of the ancient ritual. Again and again, incessantly repeating the same syllables. With each new recitation Aragorn could feel more power collecting. The contours carved in floor glowed blue. Then the blue glow disappeared, but the power was still there.
Then Aragorn spoke the final word.
A pillar of white flame jumped upwards from the circle in the floor, a few steps ahead of Aragorn. Aragorn felt its infernal heat on his skin. He started to sweat. He raised his hand, noting for others to start chanting. The voices of the other dark Jedi filled Aragorn’s mind with words from the Phoenix Phyle Litany, with the prayer to Phoenix. Aragorn’s voice joined them. They began chanting faster and faster. Soon Aragorn became oblivious to anything except for his throat that recited strange syllables with inhuman speed. Then he stepped forward.
Suddenly he was thrown into a bottomless pit of agony. Still concentrating on his chant, Aragorn didn’t release a single moan as fire burned his hair, as his skin peeled away, as his muscles burned and his bones carbonized. He felt the hand of death pulling his soul away from his melting body and he knew it was finished. Then, new words came into his mind, put there by some outside force. He felt every cell of his body regenerate and form again into the same organism. As he got his new skin the pain and heat disappeared.
Aragorn stepped outside the flame. Now he could see himself again. His skin was somewhat paler than before, but other than that he was the same. The same except for the tattoo of a blue flame on his left shoulder that marked him as a member of Phoenix Phyle.
Aragorn dressed himself again in his Brotherhood robe and then he let others dress him in the Phoenix cloak and hang the medallion around his neck.
“What happened?” Alanna’s face was pale, like it was drained of blood.
“Phoenix accepted me as a Flame Lord. I am a child of Phoenix now,” Aragorn replied, as flames still danced in his eyes.

This Initiation has not been seen by many people. Not many people know of the Rite. Only the ones who are truly dedicated to the Phyle will ever go through this.
Training & Promotions
As the new era for Phoenix Phyle began new rules and traditions have been established. The new Tetrarch has established as a rule that two competitions will be hosted every month one in fiction & writing and the other one in gaming & flash games. These competitions will be hosted both by the Tetrarch or a volunteer, and will help all the members to advance in rank, while keeping them entertained and overall active.
The Tetrarch's duty is to help the members of his/her team to advance in rank and answer any questions that they have. To follow the rules of the great house they serve, the Tetrarch is ready to dedicate time to advice, support and guide his fellow members to advance in rank, this will be done through e-mail or IRC.
Rules of Tyranny
After looking at the history of the great battle team Phoenix Phyle, the Tetrarch has established these rules in order to keep order and activity levels under acceptable standards.
