The Nighthawk is the flagship of the Dajorran Marshals. It is the third Arconan vessel to bear this name, after a Carrack-class and a more famous Agave-class. Like its predecessors, it was associated with House Galeres before command was delegated to the Marshals.

Layout

Capital Deck

Mess Hall

Tucked within the barracks sector of Deck III, the Mess Hall is a small space that can accommodate at max forty-five occupants at a time. This results in a mix of practices for accommodating the vast number of crew (83) and passengers (up to 80) on the Nighthawk. The Mess Hall staff operates two to three twenty-minute meal shifts for each mealtime: breakfast and dinner with snacks/small bag lunches to grab mid-day. They also break up the crowd by bringing meals via carts to both the crew quarters and the Officers’ quarters.

The Mess Hall layout itself starts with the modified and enlarged arch leading into the room. A couple rows of metal tables and benches have been bolted to the floor for stability, several spots have been adjusted to accommodate the smaller and larger members of the crew, soldiers, and officers. On the ram-facing wall is another large door and a giant open-faced window where food is dished out. The kitchen itself has accommodations that are generally expected in a Marauder-class Corvette. However, there are obvious signs of recent reconstruction done to make the floor room wider in order to account for burlier staff members. Additionally, a more high-tech gasser was installed, complete with a grill front. Finally, a walk-in storage area is accessible from the kitchen on the starboard wall and runs the span of the entire Mess Hall, the more aft half being a freezer.
