Taldryan's Starfighter Corps is divided up into multiple Wings, spread across the many vessels in the Taldryan Navy. As one of the most important facets of space warfare in the galaxy, maintaining a powerful and well trained Corps of Starfighters is vital to the survival, and success of the Navy. Divided into multiple Wing assignments, the various Wings of the Starfighter Corps carry out different assignments, from fighter suppression to bombing attacks.

Wing I

Information

Nickname: The Ascendant Wing

Taldryan's First Starfighter Wing, based aboard the Cotelin-class Star Destroyer Justice is considered the most prestigious posting in the Starfighter Corps, outside of serving in the Elite Squadron Hyperion Flight. Consisting of the most deadly Starfighter pilots Taldryan can muster, Wing I boasts two squadrons of the awesome Chase X Starfighters, complimented by a squadron of TIE Advanced.

Wing I is commanded by Captain Kash Dawnshadow, of Black Squadron. As a Superiority Fighter Wing, their mission is to engage enemy starfighter forces directly, and deal with them using extreme prejudice.

Wing II

Information

Nickname: Ghost Wing

Taldryan's Second Starfighter Wing, based aboard the Khyron-class Star Destroyer Resurgent, and operates as a Heavy Assault wing. Tasked with delivering a heavy punch to enemy capital ships, it contains a combination of Missile Boats, and B-Wings. The combined might of the bomber squadrons is escorted by a squadron of TIE Avenger, to ensure that the bombers can wreak havoc with impunity.

Wing II is commanded by Commander Trip Branusz, of Matsuki Squadron.

Wing III

Information

Nickname: Perdition Wing

Taldryan's Third Starfighter Wing is based aboard the Majestic-class heavy cruiser Compulsor, and operates as a Strike Wing. Equipped with squadrons of Chase X, TIE Avenger, and B-Wing starfighters, this wing is able to both engage and destroy enemy capital ships, as well as deal with enemy starfighter threats.

Wing III is commanded by Captain Kuroth Azalee, of Grey Squadron.

Wing IV

Nickname: Dictator Wing

Taldryan's Fourth Starfighter Wing is based aboard the Vindicator-class heavy cruiser Valor, and operates as a Strike Wing. Equipped with two squadrons of TIE Avenger starfighters, and a squadron of B-Wings, this wing is able to both engage and destroy enemy capital ships, as well as deal with enemy starfighter threats.

Wing IV is Commanded by Captain Leilani Forto of Renegade Squadron.

Information

Nickname: Champion Wing

Taldryan's Fifth Starfighter Wing is based aboard the Vindicator-class heavy cruiser Valor, and operates as a Strike Wing. Equipped with two squadrons of TIE Hunter starfighters, and a squadron of Assault Gunboats, this wing is able to both engage and destroy enemy capital ships, as well as deal with enemy starfighter threats.

Wing V is Commanded by Commander Valen Del Fin of Hett Squadron.

Wing VI

Information

Nickname: Assassin Wing

As the premiere fighter wing of Battle Group II, Taldryan's Sixth Starfighter Wing is based aboard the Bakura-class destroyer Relentless. Equipped with two squadrons of TIE Defender starfighters, and one squadron of Missile Boats, Wing VI is classified as a Strike Wing, and is able to engage, and destroy enemy fighters, as well as harass enemy capital ships.

Wing VI is commanded by Captain Gavon Starfall, of Dagger Squadron.

Nickname: Hurricane Wing

Taldryan's Seventh Starfighter Wing is based aboard the Vindicator-class heavy cruiser Honor, and operates as a Fighter Superiority Wing. Equipped with three squadrons of TIE Avenger starfighters, this wing's sole mission is to engage and destroy enemy starfighters and bombers.

Equipped with two squadrons of TIE Hunter starfighters, and a squadron of Scimitar Assault Bombers, its mission is to engage and harass both enemy starfighters and capital ships.

Wing IX

Information

Nickname: Winter's Wrath

Taldryan's Ninth Starfighter Wing is based aboard the Khyron-class Star Destroyer Resurgent, and operates in a Strike role. Equipped with a Squadron of Chase X Starfighters, and two squadrons of T-65 AC4 X-Wings, it's mission is to engage and dominate the battlefield. The dual-purpose roles of the X-Wing Starfighter allows this Wing to both deal with starfighter threats, as well as threaten capital ships with combined proton torpedo salvos.

Wing IX is commanded by 'Lieutenant Harloth Fitzsix, of White Squadron.

Taldryan's Tenth Starfighter Wing is based aboard the Bothan Assault Cruiser Dark Prophet II, and operates in a Strike role. Equipped with two squadrons of T-65 AC4 X-Wing starfighters, and a squadron of Scimitar Assault Bombers, its mission is to engage and harass both enemy starfighters and capital ships.

Wing X is commanded by Commander Airchios Elcyk, of Cyclone Squadron.

Taldryan's Eleventh Starfighter Wing, based aboard the Cotelin-class Star Destroyer Justice, and operates in a Strike role. Equipped with two squadrons of T-65 AC4 X-Wing starfighters, and a squadron of B-Wings, its mission is to engage and harass both enemy starfighters and capital ships.

Taldryan's Twelfth Starfighter wing is based aboard the Majestic-class heavy cruiser Compulsor, and operates as a Fighter Superiority Wing. Equipped with three squadrons of T-65 AC4 X-Wing starfighters, this wing's sole mission is to engage and destroy enemy starfighters and bombers.

Home Defense Wing I

Nickname: Violator Wing

Taldryan's First Home Defense Wing is based aboard Archanis' Redoubt, a Cardan III-class space station in the Kr'Tal System, and operates in a Close Support capacity. Consisting of two squadrons of Shielded TIE Interceptors, its mission is to protect vital intra-system facilities, and offer support to any other Taldryan forces in system.

Home Wing I is commanded by Commander Tavion Kennison, of Katarn Squadron.

Taldryan's Second Home Defense Wing is based aboard the Cardan III-class space station Citadel Alpha in the Kr'Tal System, and operates in a Close Support capacity. Consisting of a squadron of TIE Interceptors and a squadron of Scimitar Assault Bombers, its mission is to protect vital intra-system facilities, and offer support to any other Taldryan forces in system.

Consisting of two squadrons of Shielded TIE Interceptors, its mission is to protect vital intra-system facilities, and offer support to any other Taldryan forces in system.

BAC Dark Prophet II

Hyperion class modified Starfighter: Hyperion Flight

As Taldryan's Elite Starfighter Squadron, Hyperion Flight operates outside of the normal chain of command within the Starfighter Corps. As they are expected to carry out specialized missions from the Battle Group Commander, Hyperion is based off the Dark Prophet II, but falls within no designated Wing.

M/INT Orthanc

TIE Advanced: Howler Squadron

As one of the most important tactical assets with the Taldryan Fleet, the Orthanc merits a special level of attention, and so Howler Squadron is assigned to be the escort and close protection Squadron of Taldryan's Interdictor.

Merach Planetary Defense

Assault Gunboat Squadrons: Deus Squadron

Merach is an inhospitable planet that is rather rich in mineral wealth that Taldryan won in the Seven Day War, a skirmish between the Clans of the Brotherhood over who would retain rights to the rich deposits on the planet's surface. Despite it being part of Taldryan's Dominion, Merach is largely left to its own devices, and has a permanently assigned squadron of Assault Gunboats to defend the planet and its shipments from outside interference.
