Captain Reumar, a native of Kuat, is a female Human who serves as an important military figure in the Taldryan Navy, captaining the VIN Honor. A former Bounty Hunter, turned smuggler, turned pirate, turned military officer, Captain Reumar has lived a fun and eventful life.
History Overview
Born in the slums of Kuat to unnamed parents, Lauren struggled for her own, and her families survival as soon as she could walk and talk. Resorting to a life if petty theft in order to survive for the first few years, she grew accustomed to deceiving and lying to get her way. When she turned 15, she came home to find her parents brutally murdered by a band of criminals. This drove the young Kuati to become a Bounty Hunter - she certainly didn't mind her sudden income. Her bounty hunting life would continue for a while as her reputation grew beyond the system, eventually becoming a notorious hunter on a galactic scale.
Her life would forever change as she was betrayed by her lover, another bounty hunter, while on a job. The betrayal drove her into a career change after she had her revenge. Fleeing from the authorities and the guild, she took up a fake identity and started a smuggler's life. Utilizing her bounty hunting knowledge gave her an unexpected edge, allowing her to avoid and outrun whatever tried to stop her. Her success didn't go unnoticed, and before long, she found herself at the head of a pirate gang. Her pirating career provided her with a new perspective on life, and a few treasures in her pocket.
After a hit on something something something her already high bounty skyrocketed. After years of fending off former friends, and brave-but foolish- rookies, she found herself ending up in the Kr'Tal System. As soon as she crossed the border of the system, her would be hunters seemingly peeled off of her. Her bounties paid by mysterious benefactors in return for her services.
After a stint at the Katarn Academy where she fine tuned her already impressive leadership abilities and was taught large-scale tactical and strategic abilities, she was granted captaincy aboard the VIN Honor. Her undisciplined and ruthless style cause her to oftentimes get at odds with other officers because of her demeanor.
Physical Description
Lauren stands at 170 centimeters (5'7") which makes her a female human of average height. Due to her harsh life, she learned to fend for herself, which was the root for rigorous physical exercise. She possess an uncanny amount of strength in her tiny frame, but prefers to use her agility and flexibility to take down larger opponents.
She keeps her natural, black hair at shoulder length - though due to her advancing age, grey streaks have started appearing. Cold, blue eyes that can pierce through a person's soul are set in her symmetric face.
Personality and traits
Captain Reumar carries over some traits from her previous life; she is lax regarding rules, regulations, and military protocol. Even so, when she issues an order, she expects it to be followed, and accepts nothing less. While on the Honor, her word is final, even in the presence of a higher placed officer. Despite her nonchalant adherence - or lack thereof - to the rules, she is considered to be a very gifted commander. This stems from her loyalty to those under her command, she'd give her life if it means saving her crew.
She holds very little regard for rank or position, being of the opinion that good military men can come from any walk of line. This also means that she isn't afraid to speak her mind - or even punch a Dark Jedi of Taldryan in the nose if she feels disrespected.
Due to a similar outlook on life, and similarities in leadership style and general personality, Captain Reumar has a good relationship with Keirdagh Taldrya Cantor. Who - according to rumors - got away with a disrespectful comment without getting his face bashed in.
