Thelin Shay, or Shay Thelin as he’s known to those outside his homeworld, is a Relic Hunter assigned to Special Collections for the Holocron Center of the Brotherhood. A Sakiyan renowned for his ability to effectively retrieve artifacts or relics that have been located outside of Brotherhood territories.

Hired

Not much is known about his life before his joining the Brotherhood. In fact, in 20 ABY, he showed up following a failed 'retrieval' by the then Wiki Tribune. He walked right into Kaine Mandaala's office and handed him the Sith Tome that he had sent agents out to retrieve. He was offered the job of Chief Relic Hunter, when he showed that he had acquired more Sith relics.

On The Hunt

Over the next decade, Shay has brought in more Sith artifacts and relics than anyone currently employed by Special Collections. He has even managed to make it back from First Order territory wearing a set of stormtrooper armor. He had to bring an extra helmet, as the one he wore had been broken when trying to get it on his head. That trip alone had produced a rather large haul, when he had returned with multiple schematics of armor, weapons and ships of the First Order.

To date, his crowning achievements came on four separate occasions. He was partnered with a different member of the Wiki Staff each time, and he came back with a much more valuable relic each time. It is rumored, by unconfirmed, that Shay was instrumental in acquiring the Cubed Intensity, Dodecagon, and Pyramidal Holocrons.

Sometime within the past couple of years, Shay had uncovered the location of a tome of knowledge. Since he was the one that found the whereabouts of the tome, it was only fitting that he was the team that went to retrieve it. It was only after they brought it back and the Dark Council and Selika Roh, the current Wiki Tribune, discovered that it was the Gift of War Datacron.

Personality

Shay Thelin started off as a typical Sakiyan, always thinking that he was smarter than most of those around him. Though during his time working for the Brotherhood, he had learned that while he is very smart compared to a vast majority of the other members, there are the few that have proven to smarter than him. Because of this, he had been proven wrong on a couple of occasions, which did not sit well with him as he disliked being proven wrong. He is half again as strong as a normal human, and has been known to hold his own against a few of the members of the Brotherhood is hand to hand combat. For the most part, he has kept to himself as his dry sense of humor has pushed all but the members of the Wiki Staff away with his thinking that he is superior to them.
