Captain Kalv'yyr'skora, or Vyyrs as he is more often known, is a male Saraii who has been a loyal servant of the dark masters of the now defunct Dlarit Corporation since before the Exodus. Now a covert SWORD operative, Vyyrs continues to be a faithful servant of Clan Naga Sadow and gladly awaits the return of a Sith Empire to rule the galaxy once more, fiercely defending his masters' goals even when this has sometimes put him at odds with his fellow troops.
History
Even after the Imperial colonisation of Sif, Kalv'yyr'skora was always destined to be warrior. His parents had endured the Saraii's civil wars that wracked the planet before the Empire rediscovered the Outer Rim world, and as a result Vyyrs's childhood was filled with combat training with his father. Although he was initially refused entry to the new Imperial Weapons and Tactics School that the Empire had established in the capital city of Juraas-Kur, the Empire relaxed admissions after the Chiss officer Mitth'raw'nuruodo was made a Grand Admiral and attitudes toward non-humans became more tolerant. Because Vyyrs's family had been fierce traditionalists, when he graduated he chose to remain on Sif, rather than taking up a career offworld in the Imperial Navy, he instead joined the diplomatic guard for the new local Imperial government. Vyyrs's future was set when Astronicus Dlarit took over as governor. After Dlarit became aware of his ancestry as the surviving blood heir to Naga Sadow, Vyyrs, like many of the Saraii, swore an oath to the man he now saw as the next emperor.
Vyyrs fought in the Exodus.
Killed a CNS defector.
Did lots of black ops missions.
Helped reclaim Alabaster Tower during the Kel Rasha uprising.
Battled during the Dark Crusade, GJWs, etc.
Characteristics
Appearance
With blue skin, red eyes and blue-black hair, Kalv'yyr'skora was a typical member of the Saraii race from the world Sif in the Phare system of the Minos Cluster, who were believed to be descendants of a Chiss colony that left the Chiss Ascendancy during the age of the Sith Emperor, Lord Vitiate. Vyyrs himself is a grizzled combat veteran, and this shows on his face, with him having lost part of his right ear to a lightsaber blow in 19 ABY, when he was forced to strike down a disloyal Sadowan in a duel to the death during the evacuation of the original Sadow Palace during the Exodus. Underneath his clothing, Vyyrs's body is marked by numberless burns and scars, having seen combat on countless fronts during his many years as one of the closest disciples of the now defunct Dlarit Corporation's dark masters.
Combat
Before joining the Imperial Academy that was established on Sif while Vyyrs was a child, the Saraii received his original combat training from his father in a style of combat that bears close resemblances to the Carinor that was exported from the Chiss Ascendancy in the years after the downfall of Thrawn. In addition to his native martial arts, Vyyrs later learned the ways of Shadow Fist as part of his training to become an agent for the then-governor of Sif, Astronicus Dlarit. Vyyrs is largely regarded by his contemporaries as a cold, underhanded killer who shows little mercy to his targets, frequently preferring to leave them to suffer a slow death to conserve ammunition supplies if there is no urgent need to give them a clean death.
In addition to his combat training and martial arts, Vyyrs has also received direct instruction in how to defend himself against lightsaber opponents. While he did briefly experiment with an electrostaff, the Saraii generally prefers to stick to his knives and blasters, believing that it is more important to never remain still and always stay one step ahead of his opponent. As a SHADOW operative, he frequently practices with members of Clan Naga Sadow itself to keep up his training and ensure that he remains capable of dealing with any opponent, Force powers or no Force powers.
Trivia
Vyyrs was originally created for a one-off submission to the Summer Invasion event during December 2012 but has since become a recurring character and has featured in the introduction to the Sins of our Fathers competition between Clan Naga Sadow and House Taldryan in September 2013.
