Tribe
Cobalt Horde
In 33 ABY, not long after New Tython was annexed by the Brotherhood, a remote Harakoan tribe of the Kamuekikan jungles disappeared without trace. The tribe had been captured by Dark Council agents on a secret project called Cobalt Horde. For the next two years, the tribe was kept hidden deep beneath the Dark Hall on Antei, where the Grand Master himself experimented on each individual. He and other Krath Elders manipulated their minds with the Force to erase all notions of honor, leniency, tribal cohesion and generosity and replaced them with blind faith to the Dark Council, ruthlessness and bloodlust. Grand Master Ashen implanted knowledge of advanced fighting techniques directly into their subconscious, after which they were brought out and consolidated by the Fist of the Brotherhood. However, their main area of training related to their Sonance, a method of animal control peculiar to the Harakoan species. Each warrior was bonded with a warbeast and trained to fight beside it on the battlefield.
Organization
Cobalt Platoon is a special unit of the Army of the Iron Throne, under the Divisonal Separate Units. Its commander leads a platoon sergeant and 27 Harakoan soldiers. These are split into three squadrons of nine soldiers, each led by a corporal. Each squadron is further split into fireteams of four soldiers, each led by a lance corporal.
