History
Abandoned and Escape
Vladek was abandoned on the Xoxin plains of Eres III at birth and was picked up by a 'kind' Wookie, who took him to the nearby orphanage. The young boy had a troubled childhood, not uttering a single word until the age of seven, and shivering on hot summer days. However, like the others, Vladek grew up healthy and strong. In a twist of fate, at the age of twelve, Vladek and several others bludgeoned the unsuspecting Headmaster of the orphanage to death after they were punished and belated for an act of trouble-making they did not commit. To avoid being arrested, the group of murderers fled in the dead Headmaster's ship to Telos. They were trapped after crashing and put into forced labor for a group of mercenaries, until at 16, Vladek managed to escape captivity. However, during his time of captivity with the mercenaries, Vladek studied battle tactics, and his physical abilities increased. Several years later, a more intelligent and physically stronger Vladek was taking bounties on Nar Shaddaa, not hesitating to kill if he had too. Over time, Vladek developed a talent for Bounty Hunting and took on some larger bounties, hoping to get an early retirement, relax and settle down. Sadly for him, this chance never came - as a bounty request came in that would change the young man's life.
Digging Roots
At 22, while hunting this bounty, Vladek crash-landed on Maryx Minor, where he terrorized two old men about the history of the place, forcing the information out of them through intimidation, and later, violence - before surprisingly finding his bounty imprisoned by a hooded man named Xenos. Xenos showed Vladek the force by using it to kill the bounty Vladek had been hired to assassinate. and invited him into the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Vladek arrived at Sadow Palace during the middle of the Sixth Great Jedi War, deciding to side with the Red Jac. He fought in two battles, one of which he was on the victorious side and the other which he lost. He lost two fingers in his second battle, but they were later replaced with the help of the Dark Side and genetic enhancements. It was around this time that Sharmin Wheyes became his first master. Under her guidance, Vladek advanced to the rank of Guardian, but Sharmin left the Brotherhood, and she advised Vladek to become the student of her former master. Vladek followed his master's parting advice and took Kat Pridemore as his new master. The actions of the young Vladek caught the eye of House Leadership, and he was appointed Tetrarch of the Night Raptors, giving the young Krath his first true taste of leadership.
Insanity
As Vladek advanced in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood he frequently visited the planet Maryx Minor, as it was the place where he had fallen to the Dark Side at first, after the end of his successful career as a Bounty Hunter . One shock to Vladek, however was that he would embrace the Dark Side again there as a means to preserve his sanity. While as a Guardian, he was reported to the small police force on Maryx Minor for a violent assault on two senile old men who had failed to give him the information he wanted. He first violently butchered the police force that tried to arrest him and then old men whom he had assaulted on the previous occasion. One of police force was revealed to be a Jedi Padawan, working in disguise. A long and viscous duel ensued, ending with Vladek knocking the Padawans' saber into the surrounding lava, then stabbing him in the face numerous times. However, after this bloodbath was ended, the Krath began to question his self-control in the use of the Force. He was driven the point of insanity, the only way being able to solve his madness was to accept the Dark Side completely. After doing so, a newly replenished Krath got him back on his feet after the long mental struggle and he returned to Sadow Palace to think things over. It was around this time that Vladek began to tilt more to the Sith way of thinking, considering his rage to be more a thing of the Sith than of the Krath to whom he was devoted.
Discovery
On a sad occasion, shortly after his promotion to a Jedi Hunter, and his appointment as leader of Ravana Squadron, Vladek was visiting the ransacked orphanage and blazing Xoxin plains around where he had grown up, and found a record of himself amongst the ruins of the orphanage, which seems It recorded him as; ‘Missing.’ However, it also listed him as ‘Unstable’ - in regards to his toubled childhood. The datapad with his file also provided Vladek with some additional information regarding his birth: his father had sold him to the orphanage. Upon discovery of this; Vladek swore the death of his father with a cry of rage. He ripped the datapad from its hinges and but through what remained of the orphanage, destroying what was left of his past life. On his return to Sepros, Vladek pondered why his father had abandoned him. He considered various possibilities, but was unable to come to a conclusion of what the reason was for his abandonment. However, from that day, Vladek has began studying all he can find about his lost family, in the hope of finding his father. After his breakout of rage yet again, Vladek decided that he could no longer trust in the Krath to keep him sane, so proclaimed himself a Sith, hoping to channel the rage and hatred of his father into a new strength.
Pain
As he began to earn a name around his Clan and House, Vladek was dispatched to the Phare System to help in the recovery of the Sword of Sadow. He performed admirably in the recovery, but during the retreat was blinded in one eye and lost one of his legs after rashly attempting to face down a Force Adept from the Emperor's Hammer as his Battleteam evacuated. However, he successfully killed his opponent despite these impediments, by throwing a litch blade at his opponents face. After his return to Sepros, he had his leg replaced with that of a Phase I Dark Trooper, but kept his crippled eye as a reminder of his ignorance and impatience, promising himself not to be so foolhardy as to charge straight in rashly again. Despite these new physical boundaries, Vladek was elevated to Dark Jedi Knight, with the blessing of his master and Quaestor. The newly anointed Knight continued his work within the Clan and House, soon being appointed as Rollmaster of House Marka Ragnos, despite the outcries of several who doubted his ability as a successful leader, or the other's who thought that he would break down and go mad. Soon afterwards, he experienced premonitions telling him that members of his family were still alive. His spirits high because of these visions, Vladek set about the task of helping his House.
Reclusion
Shortly after the appointment of Ylith Atema as Aedile of House Marka Ragnos, Vladek seemed to halt in his search for what remained of his family. Though he retained his position as Rollmaster, the Sith took to leaving Ragnos Cathedral in his modified starfigher for periods of up to a week on a seemingly regular basis. The truth of it was, Vladek was very close to discovering his father's supposed location, and had enlisted the help of a fellow clan member, a Jedi Hunter who was known as Corin Liwaen. The two of them visited the Gallo Mountains in Naboo. Upon their arrival, they found what seemed to be the remains of a house. Not yet knowing the importance of his discovery, the pair left, though not before Corin marked the location. The house was in fact, the previous abode of Vladek's parents, and his birthplace. The house however, was not only that of Vladek's birthplace, but of another as well. Returning to his study on Tarthos, Vladek took up the mantle of Librarian as well as Rollmaster, as StarLion and many previous other Rollmaster's of House Marka Ragnos had done. This appointment served as an expansion point for the discovery of Vladek's history, as he pored over books for hours each day, and had time to think things over multiple times.
