Dakhani Solutions began as a subsidiary of the Dlarit Corporation, intended to insure art and artifacts in contracts with businesses on Aeotheran, especially with the smaller businesses of Kel Rasha, which appeared to be ripe targets. Due to Kel Rasha's nature of focusing on small businesses, the Dlarit Corporation did not feel it had enough control there, and created Dakhani Solutions as a "solution" to this problem. They hoped that, by offering insurance deals that the companies could not afford to turn down, Dlarit could profit from these companies without owning them.
Work progressed slowly and steadily at first, with limited success. The invasions of Plagueis and Zoraan each set the company back somewhat, but after each they were able to use the conflicts to justify even more sales and agreements.
The company encountered further problems when citizens of Kel Rasha and other groups across the Orian System rebelled against the Dlarit Corporation in 36 ABY. This conflict forced the Dlarit Corporation to abandon all assets outside of Seng Karash and retreat to that city, leaving Dakhani Solutions effectively on their own.
The company all but fell apart overnight. Without the guidance of Dlarit's experienced businessmen and the parent corporation's funding and resources, Dakhani Solutions struggled to maintain it's businesses. Many of the more profitable companies it insured had been "liberated" in the riots, gaining new management that wanted nothing to do with anything that might hint at Dlarit involvement.
In this turbulent time, the company was nearly defunct until a young woman name Izanami Kurai was able to gain a controlling interest within the company.
Current Operations
Dakhani Solutions was founded in 35 ABY as a small holdings company. It attempted to insure near priceless art and artifacts for the social elite of Kel Rasha. During the next two years, the company hemorrhaged credits until Izanami Kurai purchased a controlling interest. The free fall of the company slowed for a time until a sudden market turnaround brought about change within the company.
During a meteoric rise of products and protection, company shares skyrocketed, priceless art and artifacts were insured and validated. Director Kurai set aside funds from the company to enrich the lives of the common man in the city, dedicating schools, museums, art galleries and libraries. The petite director of Dakhani Solutions had created a giant with Kel Rasha overnight. This new found wealth afforded the director and her board of trustees a great level of influence, garnering a new era of renaissance as young artists also begged for the chance to show their work in a gallery.
Izanami and her team granted all of this and more. The libraries and museums were free of charge. The galleries were open and staffed around the clock, security was provided for each piece of art and the insurance on each piece was only a drop in the bucket.
This, of course, was merely the surface of Dakhani Solutions. Beneath the well dressed partners and polished manners, the true intentions of the company could be found. Only a few pieces of art were actually originals left to the public. Artifacts and artwork were kept in a vault below the high rise office of the company. Museums held high quality duplicates and the libraries held copies of original works.
The burgeoning populace of Kel Rasha enjoyed a higher quality of life while lining the pockets of Dakhani Solutions and their backers.
Territories
Their quick rise to power took the higher end business district by storm. Within months, nearly every competitor was subject to the whim of the Director and board of Trustees.
Further from the hustle of the city, satellite offices were set up around the Archipelago, strangling that area as well. Dakhani Solutions currently controls all business going in and out of the Archipelago.
