| The Taldryan Naval Service is the powerhouse of the Taldryan Security Service and is responsible for planetary defense, planetary assault, and space superiority combat. The Naval Service functions under its own independent administration with little to no interference from the House itself. During combat engagements, Jedi members are sometimes used to supplement the highly capable military pilots to help ensure the House's victory. The service is modeled roughly around the Imperial Navy, although a simplified version. The Navy is commanded by High Admiral Tak Vordin, at the discretion of Taldryan's Quaestor.

| The Taldryan Army Service makes up the largest part of the Taldryan Security Service, and is responsible for ground-based military operations. It's soldiers are ubiquitous in Taldryan territory, all clan members are very familiar with their black and gray uniforms. Organizationally the service is roughly modeled upon the Imperial Army, however in an appropriately simplified manner. The Army is commanded by Surface Marshall Travik Korr, who reports directly to Taldryan's Consul.

| The intelligence-gathering arm of Taldryan's military, the Taldryan Intelligence Service is responsible for keeping the House's leaders informed on Brotherhood- and galaxy-wide developments. The Intelligence Service is divided into two divisions, Operations and Analysis. The Operations Division agents include the covert operators sent to infiltrate organizations, surveillance agents, interrogators, and inside informers who obtain the raw intelligence. The Analysis Division gathers the raw intelligence coming from the field, sorts and interprets it, and then determines how it fits into the bigger picture. The entire Service is overseen by the Executive Committee, which is made up of four members who are responsible for the administration of the entire Intelligence Service.

Despite the growing trust between Taldryan and the Dark Council, Kir ensured that if ever there were a time when Taldryan was abandoned by her allies, she would not be defenseless. As the years wore on, and Taldryan's influence and power began to wane, the Security Service began to fall into disrepute. With the casual conveyance of Dark Jedi flitting into the ranks, and collecting ranks, and inserting themselves into power over the regular forces, the service's command structures became bloated with ceremonial appointees and bureaucrats. |

| The Taldryan Logistics Service is responsible for managing the flow of required resources to the places they are needed to support Taldryan's military operations. Military academies teach that maintaining a secure supply line is perhaps the most vital element of military strategy. The Logistics service keeps the soldiers and equipment of the entire Security Service fully supplied and prepared for action. The Logistics service is made up of trained officers and recruits from across Taldryan's territory, who work with house equipment and pair with private business to ensure the supply of Taldryan's combat units. The Logistics Service shares it's rank system with the Army Service, and is commanded by a High General.
| | In 36 ABY, in an effort to cut down the institutional rot, and once again organize Taldryan's military into a formidable force, Quaestor Rian Aslar decided to bring about a change in the Taldryan Military. Following the devastating losses suffered in the Brotherhood by the Horizon's Plague, and the attack of two crazed former Grand Masters, it became increasingly necessary to be able to field a well trained, and independent force, devoid of undue influence from the Jedi whom it served. |
