Tazrek Vashu currently serves as a Scholae Palatinae Guardsman tasked with both protecting high ranking members of the clan and carrying out covert operations. He and his Sister Zalrek Vashu were taken from their parents as infants to be raised as Sith warriors in service of the Clan.
Tazrek and his sister had a harsh life in the academy. Despite the cruelty of the program both would graduate to become Scholae Palatinae Guardsmen. It was during this time that Tazrek was assigned to guard, then Emperor, Kamjin "Maverick" Lap'lamiz. It was during his watch that Emperor Lap'lamiz was shot by a would-be assassin. Tazrek was one of the few Guardsmen to survive that encounter and personally tracked down and murdered the assassin.
Tazrek has remained in service of Scholae Palatinae and is now assigned more covert operations than guard duty.
Early Life
Infancy
Tazrek, Zalrek, and Kalrek as babies.
Tazrek and his siblings were born to working parents in the Dragan region in the Northwestern hemisphere of Judecca in 17 ABY. As with all children born within Scholae Palatinae's realm of control their blood work was submitted to the Bureau of Medicine. All such blood samples are screened for a variety of health and wellness reasons. Most importantly, registering an individuals M-Count.
Tazrek and his siblings M-Count made them eligible for selective service within Scholae Palatinae. As such, members of COMPNOR were dispatched to retrieve the triplets. Through happenstance, Tazrek parents were away at the time taking Kalrek to a hospital facility.
Kalrek was the frailest of the triplets and required numerous medical appointments.

The caretaker left with Tazrek and Zalrek were pleased to present the children to COMPNOR and informed them that the parents and Kalrek were in Lyon. With Tazrek and Zalrek in hand COMPNOR moved quickly to ensure Kalrek was given the same opportunities to expand themselves at the Imperial Academy. They were disheartened to find that the caretaker, immediately after releasing Tazrek and Zalrek to their custody had fled to Lyon and gave misinformation to Kalrek's parents causing them to fear for the safety of their remaining son and flee the system. A search was made for them that was unsuccessful.
Tazrek and Zalrek were raised believing themselves to be twins, not triplets, in the care of the Scholae Palatinae Imperial Academy which oversaw all aspects of their well-being and primary education.
Scholae Palatinae's Imperial Academy
Initial Training
When Tazrek was old enough he began his training in earnest within the Imperial Academy. While their studies included the usual military doctrine, Imperial law, piloting, tactics and strategy they were also enrolled in the secretive Scholae Palatinae Guardsmen training program. Built around ancient Sith studies of the Dark Side of the Force and structured around the Imperial Royal Guard training Tazrek endured increasing hardships with no mercy given for failure.

When he was a youth, he had taken to befriending any animals that happened into the Imperial Academy or its grounds. He would tell his sister that he felt like he could talk to them and them to him. Despite Zalrek telling him to leave them alone, Tazrek persisted. Tazrek befriended a Gizka that had gotten into the Imperial Academy and was feasting on the electrical wiring.
Unknown to Tazrek, the Instructors at the Imperial Academy had taken notice of his actions. While Tazrek didn't know it, he was reaching out and engaging with the creature via the Force. The Instructors opted to let this bond form on the span of a year before confronting Tazrek. Tazrek was given a choice of either euthanizing the creature or being whipped. Tazrek chose to take the corporal punishment. This was the first of what would become a distressing habit of Tazrek choosing to take lashing as a form of punishment versus ceasing to engage with the various creatures on the grounds.
It wasn't until Zalrek stepped in and told him she would kill any animals he befriended that Tazrek stopped. His back covered with scars he learned that some things must be hidden.
Advanced Training
Tazrek and Zalrek sparing. As Tazrek grew into adulthood he had taken to body building as a form of meditation. His initial training and shown him just how much was outside of his control and he turned those feelings inwards. He could control his body and his strength. By the time he was in his teenage years he had bulked up considerably. While not tall but some species standards at the height of 1.8m he had chiseled his body into a lean, muscular, form that allowed him to go toe-to-toe with most of his sparing partners.
As such, the instructors began forcing him to train with Zalrek. The unique bond they shared allowed each to anticipate the other's moves. They also began to embrace the arts of deception utilizing their telepathy to sow confusion and conflict. This became a game for them to see whom could Mind Trick the other. This led to several humorous encounters amongst their fellow classmates. It was from these exercises that Tazrek learned he could control the thoughts and actions of the animals he used to play with.
There was an incident as a result where the Instructor who had first lashed Tazrek for keeping a pet Gizka was found dead after a pack of Gizka had chewed through the support wiring for a large lighting panel in the Instructors bedroom. Tazrek was punished for smirking when the news was announced during morning flags at the Imperial Academy the next day.
Scholae Palatinae Guardsmen
Tazrek and Zalrek as adults. Having graduated from the Imperial Academy Tazrek and Zalrek went into service of the Scholae Palatinae Guardsmen. While they were kept together during training they were now separated for the first time. Tazrek was stationed to guarding high ranking members of the Scholae Palatinae summit and Zalrek was dispatched to handle more covert operations.
Tazrek found himself left guarding doors or standing quietly in the background while important events unfolded around him. It was during this time that he began to idly workout to keep himself mentally awake. Whether curling his lightsaber pike or improvising a weight he developed a sixth sense of when to snap back to attention thanks to his acumen with Farsight no one was the wiser.
In Service of Emperor Kamjin "Maverick" Lap'lamiz
Tazrek guarding Emperor Kamjin "Maverick" Lap'lamiz. During the reign of Emperor Kamjin "Maverick" Lap'lamiz Tazrek was assigned to his personal guard. The Emperor enjoyed sparing with his various guardsmen to keep himself physical and mentally strong as he had limited time to go to any fitness facilities. Tazrek's training with his sister became an asset in these sparing matches as Kamjin enjoyed utilizing Mind Trick to distract and dominate his opponents.
Tazrek found himself in the Emperor's favor given his ability to withstand these assaults, forcing Kamjin to actually battle on equal footing with his lightsabers and other Force abilities. Eventually, Kamjin provided Tazrek with one of his holocron's to further Tazrek's training. This became a treasured possession of Tazrek that he kept with him at all times. The lessons have been insightful to Tazrek as he seeks to utilize the Dark Side without becoming consumed by it.
Tazrek served faithfully by the Emperor's side throughout his time on the Scholae Palatinae summit witnessing first hand the Civil War that raged throughout the Caperion System, the transfer of the Imperial Throne to Seraph and the war against the Hutt Cartel that tried to establish a criminal foothold on Ulress. Tazrek was with the Emperor when an assassin tried to kill him. When the Emperor was shot and the delegation he was traveling with became pinned down, Tazrek broke through their cover fire to track down the assassin.
It took him nearly a day to locate her. When he found her he ended her with his bare hands. Returning to the Emperor's side he was present during his treatment. While outside the room he was able to sense the unique journey through the Force Kamjin went through with his youngest son, Hikaru, who was also in the hospital for treatment. It was at this time he met the Emperor's estranged wife, Kya, and his children Kai, Komilia, and Rohan though he did not interact with any of them.
This was the first time he began to wonder if you could utilize the power of the Dark Side and still have a family. A thought that would bother him for years to come.
Following the Emperor's recover and elevation to the role of Justicar, Tazrek was reassigned within the Scholae Palatinae Guardsmen to a covert operations team.
Physical Description & Combat Style
Tazrek fighting Jedi. Tazrek has a bulking frame standing at 5'9" (5'11" if you include his antenna). Years of body building has given him well defined, sculpted, muscles. His broad shoulders give him an imposing statue when he's standing guard. While he has no facial scars his body is covered with numerous scars from lashings, training, broken bones, and more.
His Imperial Academy training focused primarily on the IMAS style of hand-to-hand combat. As his physical strength grew to match, and exceed, his instructors Tazrek sought out a more challenging form of martial combat. Seeking to test himself against the strongest possible opponents he began training in the Wrruushi style of Wookiee combat.
These two forms complimented each other and Tazrek's preferred approach to combat - hands on and personal. Tazrek seeks to fully dominate and crush his opponents. He'll engage them in combat via Lightsabers or other means only if forced to by the situation. This has led to Tazrek engaging multiple foes at once to challenge himself.
Lightsaber
Tazrek with lightsaber. Tazrek has crafted a unique Lightsaber Pike that's ~168cm in length with a blade lenght of ~90cm. The upper portion of the lightsaber pike may be disconnected to function like a traditional lightsaber hilt.
The hilt was crafted with Sith Alchemy to make it nearly indestructible and is completely resistant to lightsaber attacks. The staff portion of the lightsaber pike weights nearly 7kg. A fact that Tazrek enjoys as it allows him to use it as a makeshift weight bar.
Similar to other lightsabers crafted by the Scholae Palatinae Guardsmen, Tazrek's has a dual phase emitter that allows it to be set to a stun setting for situations where Tazrek needs to subdue but not harm an individual.
Lightsaber Forms
Tazrek primarily utilizes Form V - Djem So which is an aggressive style that benefits the use of a Lightsaber pike to overwhelm an opponent and force any of their defensive actions to expose them to a counter-attack.
To counter the exposure that Djem So puts Tazrek in he also trained in Form III - Soresu as a means of controlling his combat rings and to make use of the length of his lightsaber pike staff to protect and augment his attacks.
