Merge?
- Is there any valid reason on why there are separate pages for each planet when the system page is nearly blank?
This seems like a complete waste of resources. I say merge all the individual planet pages into this one system page. -- KM

- I'm inclined to disagree; mostly because merging those infoboxes in here would make this page really long, and probably look even more barren. The text for those planets comes nowhere near the length for the boxes, so you'll end up with big empty areas. This page is in need of something though. At the very least, make those "Orbit n" titles a subtitle of something else, so you don't get the horizontal line in between orbits. --BenevolentWhiner 17:12, 12 June 2007 (MDT)
- Actually, after I posted my last opinion and was categorizing articles I realize that I agree with Ben, more or less. Don't merge them, but you do need to put little paragraphs or something here. What I'm thinking of is like the Jusadih System and Acarr System articles. Also, I really see no reason for articles for all those moons, just planets :P --Aabs 22:24, 12 June 2007 (MDT)

- I agree, a normal System page should include a brief history on every planet, and maybe a small 150px image of it, and the planet names should be a sub-title like this "=== Planet ==="
IMO, this system have too many planets. A nice amount of 6 to 8 planets is nice. Obviously you don't use them all...I guess :P

- You might want to reassess that statement, considering work on the Yridia system was conducted with an astrophysicist (Pyralis). Pyralis' qualifications include a Bachelors in Astrophysics and a Masters in Biophysics. Coupled with my own scientific background, I think we'd know if something were not totally feasible.
- The empty space of this article was more a stop point. Neither myself or Rekio have paid further attention, as we have the details up on tar.org. This was more for the DB at large than our own information. - Oberst 03:50, 14 June 2007 (MDT)
- I don't personally care about the plausibility of the content or the validity of the system - my concern is that the article itself looks ugly. While I'm at it, the image of the Dajorra System with all the planets bunched together looks silly and highly improbable. I hate when system images have planets/moons all clustered together like that. I think the gravity generated by planets being that close together would be unbearable! I think a banner-type graphic with each planet/moon orbit represented would be far better, even if they weren't represented with an accurate distance like this.-- KM
