Talk:Clan Odan-Urr history

From Wikipedia of the Dark Brotherhood, an online Star Wars Club

Progress

Initial creation and skeleton. Tried adding Category:Under Construction to mark it as being under construction, didn't work. I haz the dumb.

Objective: Provide an overview / summary of major House history points. Avoid becoming the "be all, end all" of House history - this is an overview and a launch pad, ie more of a table of contents-ish page.

To do: Add blurbs for each stage of history. -Mostly completed, missing Crusade and Horizon Link to the individual pages for each stage of history. Identify major events of each section, and give a brief mention of each. Start linking mentions of major players ie anything with its own wiki page.

Updates: Added major sections of text from my fictional recap forum post. Need to rephrase and ideally trim down some sections. —Preceding unsigned comment added by User:Elleron

Updated 28 July 2014: Completed Overview, however some links are showing as blue text, but not hyperlinks, in the contents/index (the last three entries). Possibly a local PC issue. ~Elleron

Headings

We generally try to avoid making headings links to other articles. Instead, it would be better to have a regular title for a heading, and then use the {{Main|pagename}} or {{Further|pagename}} templates to link to the article/event relating to the heading. Also, when linking to page anchors (pagename#anchortitle), you don't have to use the full url. Simply use a standard wiki link in the form of [[Page Name#Anchor Name|Displayed text]] --Shadow Taldrya (talk) 00:57, 28 July 2014 (EDT)

History of the House Founding

Further information: Founding

In 33 ABY, the Disciples of Odan-Urr established themselves as House Odan-Urr on New Tython under the leadership of Ji, a Gand Jedi, and were welcomed into the fold of the Dark Brotherhood with support from the Dark Council and Darth Ashen, who asserted his influence over the House through his pawn Solari. Under Ji's guidance, House Odan-Urr focused on domestic affairs on New Tython, with particular emphasis towards the Harakoan tribesmen and their plight against the human colonists that had settled on the planet. The Jedi functioned more as diplomats, advisors and mediators, smoothing over the troubles of these times.
