The Ascendancy was part of the Ascendant Fleet of Clan Plagueis, serving as the command ship for House Ajunta Pall.
History
Role
The Ascendancy served as one of the primary naval assets of Plagueis. Its firepower was considerable, but it was also quite versatile; this was bolstered by the added weaponry and equipment. As such, the ship played the role of a nexus when engaged in combat. In addition, the Ascendancy embarked a small ground force of battle droids. The droids were specially trained in boarding actions, serving to defend the vessel from any possible incursion. During planetary assault missions under the authority of House Ajunta Pall, the Ascendancy was tasked with the transport and deployment of the House's assigned ground unit.
