The Antenora Military Campus, located at the equatorial mountain range that once housed the headquarters of House Acclivis Draco before they moved to the Northern Oasis, is a collection of buildings designed for one function: protecting the planet and the Dark Jedi of House Acclivis Draco. Although not always considered welcome by the indigenous peoples, the members of Kraken Regiment have proven that their duty is to protect the entire planet, not just their Force-wielding masters.

Antenora Defense Headquarters

Size: 57,000 sq. feet [17,373.6 sq. meters]

Number of Floors: 4

Commonly referred to as the “Amethyst Fortress,” Antenora Defense Headquarters is an impressive display of architecture. Built into House Acclivis Draco’s former Citadel, the Amethyst Fortress has since undergone renovation to keep it technologically up-to-date. Built immediately after the Exodus once the Cocytus System had been claimed for Scholae Palatinae, the Amethyst Fortress has survived numerous battles under the direction of the Quaestors and Aediles of the Rising Dragon.

Since the birth of the Legions of Scholae Palatinae system established under Emperor Dakari the Merciless, the Fortress has been forced to live up to rigid maintenance and upkeep standards.

The Hub + War Memorial Room

The former Grand Portal of the first Dragons Citadel on Antenora, the Hub is located in the absolute center of the building. Branching off it, several hallways lead to different wings and towers. The Hub used to serve as the Fountain Room of the Citadel, a place to conduct business, meet new people, and catch up on the latest news.

With a floor of white marble and a gurgling fountain in the middle, the Hub is, by far, the most popular area of the Defense Headquarters building.

In the Memorial War Room, pictures and plaques that contain the names of all of Kraken Regiment’s fallen soldiers line the walls. Members who are “Missing in Action” have individual close-up pictures next to their names in the hope that they will eventually be located. So far, no one has found any of these MIA soldiers.

Similar in design to Drynwyn's Tower’s war room, a large map of Antenora is located in the exact center. This map, however, is one hundred times more accurate, with a margin of error of only 0.0001%.

Prison and Interrogation chambers

The building’s basement levels are prison cells and interrogation chambers. Dark and filled with small metal rooms that almost resemble animal cages, the Krath that once inhabited the Amethyst Fortress are known to have frequently used this chambers.

Each interrogation chamber is equipped with standard equipment: a full set of knives, hundreds of blunt needles, and an assortment of crooked-looking tools that resemble foreign eating utensils.

Training Wings

Similar in design to Timbal Training Facility on Dragon Main, the training wing inside the Antenora Headquarters building is only used by approximately 15% of the active soldiers. This is because most soldiers do their training elsewhere, whether it be marching in lines up and down mountains or attempting to hit a bull’s eye on the shooting ranges outside.

Despite its general unpopularity, the training wing offers a wide variety of activities and opportunities for fitness and skill enhancement. The training wing contains three sections: an exercise room, one large classroom, and a small indoor shooting range.

The exercise room contains standard equipment: punching bags, weight racks, thick mats, and a wall of mirrors. The large classroom contains one hundred seats and is generally used for lectures concerning the technical aspects of weapons; actual demonstrations are done at the shooting range. The indoor shooting range offers four different lanes. A vast panel in a small, soundproof booth controls the targets for each of these lanes.

Antenora Military Barracks

When assigned into Kraken Regiment, a soldier has the opportunity to have a say in which building, excluding Building 6, he or she wishes to house in. If the new recruit cannot make a decision in five seconds, he or she is automatically assigned a building by asking a nearby droid for a random number. High Colonel Juda Lantmair designed this system in 24 ABY after being commanded to conduct the orientation of new recruits. Unbeknownst to his superiors, Lantmair was highly inebriated after having spent the day with Brigadier General Ecgwulf Ail.

A group of six separate buildings, the Military Barracks is located in the former Acclivis Draco Dormitories. Each building is approximately 1,000 sq. feet and each has a unique name that the soldiers of the past have thought up.

In each building, bunk beds and lockers line the walls and take up most of the space available on the hardwood floors. It should be noted that males and females are not separated; however, if any soldier participates in an act of sexual harassment, the harshest punishments available will be imposed upon them.

Building One Old Shoes/Shoes

The original Barracks building, “Shoes” is the oldest of all six and is now considered the home of traditionalist and conservative soldiers who are content with minimal furnishings and barely any light. From a bird’s eye-view, it is shaped like a boot on its side.

Building Two: Leather Me Up, Baby/Leather

No one can remember why Building 2 was nicknamed “Leather”. Most suspect that the inside was leather-themed at one point. However, it is known that this building was a former bathhouse for soldiers, and “Leather Me Up” might be referring to this fact or to the tight-fitting leather uniform pants they would wear.

Building Three: Screamers/The Scream

The smallest barracks building, “The Scream” is known for its overall feel of congestion and discomfort. Most soldiers complained about this to the commanding officers, but upper command immediately dismissed their complaints and passed it off as “infantile screaming and whining”.

Building Four: New Chicks

Shaped like three circles mashed together, for some unknown reason, most new recruits are assigned to Building 4. (Many believe that the protocol droids used to assign “random” buildings have taken a liking to the number 4 because of General Ail’s “Four Twi’lek Hookers and an Ithorian” jokes.) These newbies are usually not yet seasoned warriors, and thus can act stereotypically feminine when it comes to challenging tasks by whining and asking someone else to do it for them.

Building Five: Rets

The walls of “Rets” are padded with sponge-like material because the building used to be the dumping ground for mentally ill prisoners of war. Most of these prisoners spouted fast-flowing rivers of colorful language whenever someone would walk past the building or open up the door of a cell. The walls between cells have been taken down to allow more space since the building’s renovation in 25 ABY. “Rets” now mainly houses reserve and retired soldiers who have no place, besides Antenora, to call “home”.

Building Six: Importants

If a high-ranked officer did not collapse and fall asleep in his or her office that night, he or she has access to sleep in a larger bunk in Building 6. The building is nicknamed “Importants” because all of the “important” officers would sleep in this building. The bunks in this building are at least twice as large as the bunks in the other buildings.
