Oracle

Duties

The Oracle of the Brotherhood was responsible for updating the Dark Side Compendium, and editing the Dark Voice newsletters. The Oracle was a position on the Main Body of the Dark Council, but at one time was listed among the Advisors.

Fictional Role

The Oracle was the most proficient Prophet and Seer of the Dark Side. Reaching deep into the permutations of the Force, the Oracle offered his conclusions to the Grand Master. The Oracle was also required to research the most ancient histories of the Dark Side with the Order of the Krath, and the High Priest. The Oracle was often seen as the highest authority on the religious nature of the Final Way

Upon the disappearance of Trevarus Caerick, the position was disbanded. When he again returned to the Brotherhood, he was not renamed Oracle, although he still maintains the title unofficially.
