The Nifokalija Mountains are a range of uninhabited mountains on Aeotheran. Meaning "Abode of Mist" or "Mist World" in the native tongue of Ombian, which was used by the now extinct Ombi, Nifokalija is forever hidden underneath a heavy blanket of fog. Due to the near impossible task of charting their exact geography, the mountains remain untouched by the mining operations of the Dlarit Corporation that otherwise stretch across most of Aeotheran, the effort having been deemed unprofitable back in 19 ABY by then-consul Xanos Zorrixor after early probes sent into the area were lost to the Mist World. Like many places across the worlds of Orian, the mountains even remain shrouded to Force users, the planet's underlying dark side energies clouding people's Force senses.
