Krath Savant Mune Cinteroph has only just returned from places undisclosed, and thusly removed from the list of rogues to rejoin his former clan, Clan Scholae Palatinae. A native from a little known planet not even worth naming, he was previously a key member of the Isradia Family, a devoted scholar, quick calculating thinker and cunning assassin and graceful swordsman. Before his disappearance, he had been a member of Scholae Palatinae, leading House Acclivis Draco most notably for a time. He took on only a single student in in his time with the clan, Impetus M’Nar. His reasons or the how of his disappearance were never divulged, and even upon his return, remain veiled in secrecy.

Snow & Ash
The Imperial era went generally unnoticed on Imie, a planet left alone while the rest of the Felucia System was contested during the Clone Wars . Populated largely by humans, having taken to largely xenophobic outlooks. Traditionalists, slow to adaptation and stubbornly adhering to outmoded ways of thinking.

Visitors to the planet, by law, could only visit their capital city, Caeles Folor. It was here that the original experiments had begun, led by scientist Orrand Verr, unknown to any but the humans on Imie, and those few “guests” having the privilege having met him. Here, it was always snowing… and a blend of snow and ash were constantly underfoot. The capital was home to government and the sciences alike, and, here too, many an atrocity were born by the ungentle hand of science on Imie.

Mune was born in approximately 3 ABY, on a remote planet in yet another remote system. He was born into a rather more docile culture, or what one could only really ever describe as boring. A human culture of farmers, with no ambitions past their own planet’s governing. Only a small spattering of sects were anything out of the ordinary. It was into this culture that he was born, and his differences immediately noted, and he abandoned to one of these sects in the darker fringes of the planet.

In 3 ABY, Orrand, at the age of 35, and his young wife, became pregnant with their first and only child. Weak willed, the boy’s mother could not refuse the child to her scientist husband’s wicked machinations. Of course, he was not to be the madman’s only wicked deed, but by far the most shocking, treating his own flesh and blood to genetic manipulations in the womb. It was then by no surprise that the child was born half human with numerous other genetics altering his DNA. These anomalies most notably resulting in canine-like ears, fangs, claws and tail. Papers on the experiments made confidential, like all others on Orrand’s work. He was born Hibiki Verr.
He was titled a “mahõtsukai”, translated roughly to “sorcerer”. Abandoned to the stigma of his strange marks of birth, the monastery readily took him in, as they did other “marked” children; rare as they were.

Orrand, unhappy with the results of his scheming, chose to discard his own progeny as a failed project of science. It was only for his wife that the boy was not discarded; to be thrown into the laboratories wicked furnaces and made ash on the streets.
He would not know until sometime, even, who his parents were.

Rather than be destroyed, he came to be reared by his father's sister. It was no mystery the child was unwanted, a black sheep within a family of intellectuals who sought respect and monetary gains for no one but themselves. A black sheep borne from their own weak blood, was the last creature they wished to give shelter, but, they did, for a time.
It was not unusual, in his culture, for those “marked”, to be taken in by the priestesses and priests of monasteries in the darker realms of his birth world. They were educated mystics, seers, of a rather questionable sort. Mune was no exception upon his delivery onto them. When he came to an age that he could learn, he was thrust deep into a grueling learning plan. He was taught to read by the age of three. Theories were recited him nightly, while chores were given him daily. The mysticism and theorems, superstitions and a belief in something ‘more’, became his world.

The question that nagged at his young mind even then, at the age of seven… What was this ‘more’? This something that hid beyond the scope of his understanding. The priests and priestesses, nor his fellow younglings could shed light on this shadow that dwelled just beyond his reach.

Mune remained uneducated, mistreated, and shunned by adult and children alike. He began to see himself much as others saw him, an oddity; a point driven home when his father paid a visit at the age of five. A point that drove him from what had been the only home he had so far known, when his aunt was told to get rid of the monstrosity. It was five days later, and Mune amused himself in a gazebo in his aunt’s garden. Spring flowers scented the air. He remembered those flowers for years after the flames engulfed them and his world was swallowed by fire. He saved himself from death, but barely, and, horrified at the demon before them, the family called for the authorities. The Force had saved him from destruction. It was not the authorities who came.
This so being, he continued to thrive however. Thrive in such a way that made him the target of some of the more jealous and quarrelsome children of the monastery in which they all lived. His thirst for knowledge, his energetic advances that found him beyond them only enraged even some of the older children. It was more than once, or even a dozen times that heads butted and blood was spilled, and an injured student disciplined.

Drawn by the child’s power, the priestesses came upon him and the ash of the garden. Soothing the rage the boy felt, they take him away from those that could never want him, nor understand him.
The Knife
The Sound the Chimes Make
He was the special plaything of the monastery… the wicked knife with which they would eventually thrust into the heart of a bigoted government.

At the age of five, after the fire that nearly claimed his life, he was taken in by the Monastery at Deeplake, well beyond the influence of Government or the scientific community. Here, his education began.
It was at the age of ten, the year 13 ABY, when the woman had come in the company of a government official. If his marks had been strange upon his release into the monastery, he only stood out further from the other humans now… he was beyond a doubt a hybrid. Whether through some experimentation, he was no pure human like the man and woman who regarded him that day… the man with eyes beholden of nothing but rage and disgust.

The following years were filled with ancient tomes, crumbling grimoire, and old and faded scrolls. He was ravenous for every scrap of knowledge, every bit of wisdom. Priest and priestess alike were more than happy to oblige him his seemingly ceaseless thirst. It became quickly evident to him however, that though they taught their ancient arts to other children under their tutelage within the monastery walls… they were missing something vital. They spoke often of the greatness of their wisdom, the power of their arts, the truth behind all things; but Mune knew more than thought, that they were missing something important. A true understanding.
Mune had no doubts, in that moment. He knew them intimately. He understood what the man would be pressed to do.

Three nights passed, on that third night a storm raged in the sky above. A great battle of forces of nature that sent tendrils of lightning ripping the very night asunder. Rain pelted the chilled cobbles, slickening them with a deluge that seemed to wish but to flood the monastery grounds. Mune left the grounds through the large main gates, closing the great doors upon his passage and stood regarding shadows with disdain.

When not ensconced in his reading, he was tutored personally by one of the elders in the art of sword dancing. A form of sword play using the Jian-style sword, focused on grace and agility as opposed to strength and brute force. It was a style that suited his way of thinking.
“Father.

He had quickly become accepted, his world changed drastically from what he had been accustomed to, though nightmares plagued him often in the night. He grew, his mind sharpened, and he was honed into everything the priests could ever hope for… a sorcerer that could bring them the notice of Government and garner them the power and respect they deserved. To his family, he was a mistake. To these people, a tool.
There he stood, in company of two personal guards. The shadows shifted and from them came his attackers. Would be assassins, paid coin they felt more than enough to slay a ten year old boy. Time itself seemed to slow, a mind sharpened by an understanding beyond these small, piteous, close minded fools; needn’t worry. A cold rage, coiled about his heart. A hand, absently drew a mask down over his own face to hide his eerie eyes from sight. The sound of the deluge fell away. Thunder made dull by an awareness beyond what he had ever experienced.

Honed and tempered by repeated lessons, he was taught to kill. Mistakes were rewarded with bruises, failure to perform to the expectations of his tutors became bloody marks upon his flesh. He pushed himself to succeed, so that they would teach him more and fill that need to know more. As he grew, so did his abilities, and his attachment to one he had come to call sister, an interesting girl who claimed attachment to his earliest years before the monastery.
Then he moved.

It came as no surprise then, the appearance of Orrand and his retinue of government officials. He had seen it in one of his nightmares. He awaited them upon the freshly fallen snow before the great gates of the monastery. It was only for a moment that Mune held a hope that his father had forgiven him his abilities and appearance. His hopes were dashed when the blasters were leveled upon him. Within moments, his swords had rent his father's entourage, felling them to the snow in pools of blood. The rage had enveloped the Hybrid's world. Mune would always remember standing over the man that he had known for so little time as his father, foot on the man's chest and the point of his blade to the scientist's throat. The boy blinked away the tears that streaked his cheeks, as he stared into eyes filled with hate and disgust, and Mune thrust the blade home, ending the life held at his mercy.
Darkness
He knew no mercy. With the men of the monastery, they buried the bodies.
It was as if time itself broke before the Force. Rent, torn asunder, time ceased for a split second, and Mune stood above the man he never knew. Assassins behind left in blood and gore behind him, dispatched without even an afterthought to who they had been. They were corpses now, no more, no less. The man’s personal guards lay sprawled, long, delicate needles that caught the flashes of lightning, protruding from various kill points.

The Brotherhood
He stood over the man, his jian-sword levelled with the man’s throat.

To the Stars
“You would kill your maker?”

It was not so long after the slaying that Mune left. He was forgiven the massacre by his brethren of the monastery, yet, he could not bring himself to remain. He felt out of place, as though he belonged elsewhere. They had no more to teach him, so far as he was concerned. He begged his leave of them, and though he could not garner the blessing of his teacher, he did promise to one day return and earn his favour. So he left, Mune returning to his birth place. with what credits they had, they took their leave of Imie. Mune was thirteen-years-old.
“Yes,was all needed be said.

The point of the sword plunged inwards. Flesh gave way, blood flowed to run with the rain over the cobbles. It was done, and he stood over the man he called father, for the first and last time. Laughter gripping his chest, given voice for a moment before he freed his weapon and retreated back to his sanctuary.

He left soon after, at the age of eleven.

Mune did not leave alone however. Cipher, his adoptive sister, whom took to him during a turbulent time of bullying at a younger age, took to his side again in his decision to take his leave of the monastery and its bothersome mystics. They understood nothing, so far as he was concerned. He knew truly what it was that burned within him. They knew not what they toyed with, only he truly grasped that which fueled the flames his passion.

Appearance
He is half-human, a hybridization come about through genetic manipulation and experimentation. His human father, Orrand Verr’s goals were uncertain, and all pertaining papers since classified or destroyed, and so remains uncertain. The results, however, only seem by all appearances, completely cosmetic.
He refused to share that knowledge with them.

Mune is somewhat short of average height for an adult human male, standing at 5’7” (170cm) and well-toned. He is by and large, mostly human in his appearance, with a few notable traits that mark him as not quite. These include his eyes, a startling ruby red in colouration, bright, intelligent, sharp and even shocking at first when one catches sight of the slit quality of his pupils. His teeth, or his canines more specifically come to the slightest points, barely noticeable and could only be described as dainty fangs. He has canine ears instead of human ones, though they afford him no better hearing then is to be expected of a human. His nails can only be described as claws, though only just… and no more dangerous then the next man deciding to glow his nails long. His hair is most short, with his bangs left long, dyed a soft powder pink that compliments the soft cream colour of the rest of his hair. Each ear is adorned with a single piercing.
It was by following Cipher’s dreams; that he found himself before Jonaleth Isradia, Consul of Exar Kun.

Personality
WIP
Mercurial by nature… that is to say quick-witted; changeable; erratic and flighty. In the presence of strangers, he seems quiet, brooding and moody. In the company of those that know him more intimately; he is an energetic, passionate and brilliant young man. He is always in some mode of thought, calculating and analyzing information presented; especially when faced with combat… he makes it a point to know his exits.
