General Vessel Information

The GR-75 medium transport, or Gallofree medium transport, was a clamshell-hulled transport produced by the now defunct Gallofree Yards, Inc.

The design was focused entirely on maximizing cargo space at the expense of armament, speed, crew comfort, and cost. The factory model provided for forty passengers, but almost all ships converted the space for added cargo room. Most GR-75s found their way into Alliance hands during the Galactic Civil War due to their low cost, ease of reconfiguration, and availability of replacement parts.

History

The ship renamed Khan’s Legacy was acquired by Clan Exar Kun alongside the Reliance as part of a package deal. Upon the formation of Plagueis it became the Firestarter. It was attached to the planet Aerun as a supply runner and troop transport. The Yuuzhan Vong bombardment of Diadem Fortress caught the transport in the hangar, crushing it beneath the collapsing structure.
