Vessel Info

Construction

Construction began on Cotelin at the Kuat Drive Yards facility at Xa Fel in the Kanchen Sector in 25 ABY. Cotelin was fabricated from custom designs based on the venerable Victory II-class Star Destroyer. Heavily modified, the vessel featured twice the firepower of the older variant spread across an additional 400 meters of keel.

Commander

Captain Gailn; Commanding Officer, Cotelin

  • Species: Human
  • Home World: Kapsina
  • Sex: Male
  • Height: 1.85 meters
  • Weight: 92 kilograms
  • Eye Color: Blue (white iris)
  • Hair Color: Blonde
  • Distinguishing Feature(s): Pale, white skin lacking pigment

Captain Gailn was recruited into the Brotherhood’s Armed Forces from the ranks of the Clan Plagueis Naval Forces. The Kapsina native was groomed and tutored by a former Consul of Plagueis, and Grand Master, Sarin. It was under the former Executive Officer and Sith High Warrior that he was tutored in tactical strategy that involved the use of Force-sensitive individuals to compliment the uncanny skill and tenacity of the brave Imperial officers under his command.

He was a strong candidate for reassignment when his previous command, the Modified Strike Cruiser Atrum Pars was disabled and destroyed during the Eighth Great Jedi War. The upstart naval officer was eager to accept an offer within the expanded Brotherhood Fleet when offered the opportunity by his former mentor. For his exceptional efforts during the Incursion and the campaign to reclaim the Jusadih system, he was given command of Cotelin.

Role

Under Task Force 64's mission, Cotelin executed alternate duties of planetary assault and ship-to-ship naval engagement. The vessel's massive firepower and deep starfighter hangars ensured Cotelin excelled in both roles. She supported IV Legion, 13th Starborne Division of the Army of the Iron Throne.
