The Amicus Club is the IT spot on Antei. Owned by Trevarus Caerick and Maxamillian von Oberst-Tarentae, the five story building is accessible only to the most illustrious and important members of the Brotherhood and Antei's socio-economic stratta. To get past the front door, one MUST be at least an Elder, Consul or other Council member. Elders are afforded a handful of guests who can be from the Equites class or lower, but they are watched carefully by the staff and will be escorted out at the first sign of trouble. The only exceptions to entrance are the handful of personal invitations that Trevarus and Maxamillian extend.

Rules

Vice rules at the Amicus. Drugs, alcohol and sex are all available for the right inquiry and the right price. But be on your very best behavior. The slightest infraction of the rules will result in your dismissal.

  • No violence.
  • Weapons are not to be worn openly.
  • Prices are not negotiable.
  • Accounts must be settled before leaving the premises.

The staff has been more than adequately trained by Max and his former apprentice, DJM Spears Tarentae, to dispose of anyone. To level the playing field, The Force is dampened in the Club. Information on how this has been achieved is not forthcoming: certainly the proprietors and staff are tight lipped on the subject, but it is rumored that many Necromantic rites were used to create the Force dead area.

First Floor

The first floor of the club is accessible to all guests and features a central bar and 3 smaller bars. Tables, chairs and booths are arrayed to give everyone a view of the cabaret's stage, but are also kept clear of the dance floor. During major functions and fetes, the stage can be used to house more tables and chairs.

Second Floor

The second floor is exclusive. To get past the guards, one must be on the list. And this list is even more exclusive. Trevarus and Max, set up the second floor for their friends, colleagues and associates. To be allowed onto the second floor is considered one of the ultimate status symbols in the Brotherhood. The rank of Elder is not a guarantee of admittance to the second floor. Booths ring the second floor, with curtains available for a modicum of privacy. There is no bar, rather valets are in charge of ensuring guests get everything they desire. On the second floor, everything is available - for a price. The second floor opens up allowing the people on the first floor a glimpse of the revelry above, and the people on the second floor a chance to sneer at those below.

Some have criticized the second floor as being nothing more than an open display of hedonism and vice, citing lascivious escapades that ensue regularly. The staff and proprietors have noted that these critics are all persons allowed only a glimpse of the second floor from the first, carefully pointing out that only a small taste of the second floor is visible from below. Given the reputations of its proprietors, as well as the exceptional beauty and handsomeness of the valets and staff on the second floor, these rumors may not be that far from the truth.

Occassionally, both proprietors have broken the 2nd floor restriction policy by allowing some of the revellers below above. For fear of never being allowed back, none have ever spoken of their experiences, only grinning broadly when asked.

Third Floor

The third floor has three banquet areas for private soirees. In order to reserve one of the rooms, one must be allowed on the second floor.

Fourth Floor

The fourth floor has five suites available for guest use. Again, admittance to the second floor is a necessary for use.

Fifth Floor

The fifth floor is offices, most notably the offices of the proprietors.
