Aramis Nestor is an Admiral within the Dlarit Navy and serves as Fleet Commander.
Biography
Aramis was one of four brothers who were born during the latter years of the Galactic Republic on the planet of Chandrila. According to recovered archives his father was a feudal knight, whose family had its origins in the Tapani Sector and later moved to the city of Hanna on Chandrila. His father was among those appointed by the Chandrila Defense Force and because of his excelling service was granted the fief of Barris village.
Because of his father's status with the CDF, Aramis was granted an officer's rank and given a small command to demonstrate his abilities. He started out as a Lieutenant charged with border patrol aboard a Guardian-class patrol ship. On one occasion his ship stumbled upon a beat-up and lumbering old Type C freighter. The ship didn't not respond to hails and Aramis decided to board it. Upon stepping foot inside the freighter they discovered it had been previously been boarded and the crew slain. Lieutenant Nestor set about to find and apprehend the criminals responsible for this.
After intense investigations, pulling some strings and calling in most of the favors his friends owed him, his work paid off. The base of the pirates was discovered and Nestor assembled a Strike Force. However, an eager Captain by the name of Binse decided to take advantage of Nestor's work and assumed command of the Strike Force. During the battle that ensued at the pirate base, Binse was killed and Nestor once again took command. From what looked like a lost cause, he pulled his squad around and defeated the pirate fleet and captured the base. Aramis Nestor received all of the praise and was promoted to Captain for his brilliant work.
As the years passed he would perform similar type scenarios throughout the Chandrila System and Bormea Sector. He would eventually reach the rank of Commodore within the CDF and retire at an early age from that service. However, three years after Astronicus Aurelius Sadow assumed ownership of the Dlarit Corporation he had an agent approach the retired Commodore and offered him the opportunity to once again bring order to a chaotic system. Hesitant at first, Aramis Nestor finally accepted and began emlpoyment for the Viceroy.
He was given command of a Line and upon the untimely demise of his predecessor, Rear Admiral Naktos, he was promoted to Rear Admiral and made Fleet Commander. Over the years he has time after time proven his loyalty to the Corporation and effectiveness in naval battles, earning him the rank of Admiral.
Nestor typically does not leave Naval Command on Sepros now of days, but if the situation calls for it or demands it, he will with out hesitation board the VSD Covenant and take command.
