The Star Destroyer Transcendent was the former flagship of the Ascendant Fleet of Clan Plagueis.

Role
The Transcendent served as the central naval asset of Plagueis. Its firepower was nearly without peer, but it was also quite versatile. As such, the ship played the role of a nexus when engaged in combat. In addition, the Transcendent embarked a small ground force of battle droids. The droids were specially trained in boarding actions, serving to defend the vessel from any possible incursion. During planetary assault missions, the Transcendent was often tasked with the transport and deployment of elements Plagueis's infantry regiments. This was usually done to allow for greater tactical flexibility than deploying from the Ravager alone.
