Created initially during the time of Grand Master Kreeayt Havok to hold the secrets of the Brotherhood, the HOLOCRON was added onto as the Brotherhood underwent tremendous growth over the next decade. At the time of the Exodus, the holocron was a hepta-hedral with the original portion of the holocron signifying the Dark Council as the centerpiece. During the Exodus, the holocron was broken up into pieces in order to smuggle it out from the Emperor's Hammer, but the ships carrying it away from Eos were ambushed by units of the Avenger Task Force who remained loyal to Grand Admiral Ronin. All of the pieces were recovered eventually by the members of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood except for one, but it has recently been located on New Tython.

Jac Cotelin
During his first stint as Grandmaster, Jac Cotelin was one of the youngest people to ever reach the highest ranks within the Brotherhood. This fact led him to become universally feared and respected by the Brotherhood. His intense studies led to issues with Dark Council. However due to his studies he was able to store much of his findings withing the holocron.
It was often remarked about Jac Cotelin’s facial expressions. He was able to display his emotions to the most extreme degrees. The dark side is also often seen to have a wider usage of emotion than the light side. Jac poured his understandings of emotions during his first stint as Grandmaster in to the holocron.
Justinian Khyron
Khyron was Cotelin’s successor. His leadership of the Brotherhood was punctuated by a serious uprising, leading to him being temporarily removed from his position. It was under Khyron that the Grandmaster’s Royal Guard was first formed. Khyron began to set up safeguards to prevent the Clans from rising up to overthrow the Iron Throne again.
Khyron’s experience with uprisings and resistance from the Clans of the Brotherhood left him furiously planning to prevent it from ever occurring again. All of his studies, thoughts and final plans should it ever occur again were stored within the holocron for safekeeping.
Thedek
Thedek was the ninth serving Grandmaster of the Brotherhood and a extremely influential Master at Arms. His rule saw modifications to several aspects of the Brotherhood including the Envoy system and the Royal Guard that was established during Khyron’s rule. Importantly it was under Thedek that the Chamber of Justice was created, establishing a system of law within the Brotherhood.
Thedek saw the need for a balance to the way the Brotherhood functioned. He understood there were basic rights, privileges and rules that Brotherhood members needed to follow in order for the Brotherhood to survive. The all out chaos of past large groups of dark side users had always failed because of the lack of rights and rules. Thedek stored the basic operations of the Chamber of Justice within the holocron so that future generations may learn from it and implement it should anything happen to the Brotherhood.
Faethor
Grandmaster Faethor served as the eleventh Grandmaster and was the last to have his full time spent pre-Exodus. He is also notable for having two stints in as the Herald for the Brotherhood. His long time standing service to the Brotherhood and multiple positions held meant that he had large amounts of Dark Council level experience.
The Herald is seen as the “face” of the Brotherhood and one of the large contributors to insuring the Brotherhood’s identity is hidden from the Galaxy at large. Due to his multiple times of experience with this Faethor learned much about the art of deception and concealment. He stored his knowledge of these factors into the holocron during his time as Grandmaster to ensure the Brotherhood could continue to be hidden from prying eyes.

Scholae Palatinae
Basic Information: House Scholae Palatinae is one of the original units of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and one of the first that had been made into a Clan in 19 ABY. With the decree from the Dark Council in 33 ABY it returned to its original House status. Independent and Proud, today, it presides as the rules of the Cocytus system as its dominion. The Empire, although small, is an important and historic force within the Dark Brotherhood.
Training Schemes:House Force Powers - Animalism: Animalism was a technique specifically with the House Scholae Palatinae that was formed within three tiers with twelve levels. Tier one had Feral Understanding, Beastial Empathy, Animal Aspect. These three things focused on being able to understand the animal tongue but not speak it, precieve the animal’s general emotions and take on specific characteristics of the animal. Tier two Feral Conversation, Bestial Telepathy, Animal Alteration, and Summons of Nature. These were focused on conversation both ways with the animals, superficially alteration to resemble certain aspects of the given animal, and summoning the animal. The third and final tier levels were Call Familiar, Feral Translation, Animal Magnetism, Animal Form and Spirit brother. This tier helped the members call for help from the animal, talk to other humans while in human form, emit animal pheromones, transform entirely into the animal and understanding the animal through the force.
