| | [[Sith]] [[Battlemaster]] Xen’Mordin Vismorsus, more commonly known as Xen, has a long history in the DJB. Originally a member of [[Clan Satal Keto]], he served in [[Clan Plagueis]] following the combination of Satal Keto with [[Clan Exar Kun]]. After a time he made the decision to uproot and made his way to [[Clan Scholae Palatinae]] where he undertook many roles. Notably he served in [[House Caliburnus]] as an [[Aedile]] for many months helping it thrive. Following the invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong, he disappeared. His whereabouts for this time period are as of now unknown. |

| | Xen’Mordin was born as Kilan Khzon on the planet of Coruscant. His father, Donlan, was a fairly wealthy merchant. His mother, Xisya, came from a wealthy political family. He had two brothers Kiith, age 10, and Clertan, age 7; He also had a sister, Sairia, age 4. Although the galaxy was still in turmoil following the death of Emperor Palpatine, the Khzon’s were financially and emotionally stable. Around this same time, another human family very close to Khzons, had a baby girl, Angelina. |

| | The first several years of Kilan’s life were blissful. Despite the continued political turmoil his family lived in safety and joy. He started some formal education but showed signs of force sensitivity. When the new Jedi Academy opened in the year 11 ABY, Kilan was one of the students selected to come study. Along with him came the daughter of their close friend, Angelina. Although both were really too young to understand what this meant for their futures, Kilan’s older brother Kiith fully saw the potential. Kiith begged to be accepted as well, however was rejected. Kiith became rather hostile toward his very young brother. His final few days left at home were filled with discomfort. All of the prior happiness Kilan enjoyed at home disappeared over those few days. |

He maintained a close relationship with Angelina and gained a very small group of friends. Although he wasn’t the top of all the students he was still skilled. |

| | By the age of 16, Kilan and Angelina both had moved on to being Padawans. Although dealing with frequent separation they had a blossoming love. The new Jedi Order did not scorn their affection. Their master’s understood the importance of sustaining their connection. As a group of four they ventured on a diplomatic mission to the padawans’ homeworld of Coruscant. Things were going well, and it became obvious that Kilan and Angelina were not only in love, but able to work very well together. |

Some shady thugs had caught a glimpse of her and decided they wanted some action. Because there were several of them, Angelina was not able to hold them off. Kilan had noticed she was missing and went looking for her. |

| | He finally found her as the thugs were pinning her to the ground. A rage flooded through Kilan like he had never experienced. With a flash he had decapitated the leader of the thugs with his lightsaber. In terror the other thugs fled. Kilan made to go after them but his master managed grab hold of his arm. | An ancient Zabrak Legend told in many different variants. The full and actual legend had been a source of mystery among the Zabrak people. One of the great pieces of Zabrak literature, it is highly debated who The 'Fallen' actually is. Due to the next to complete accuracy of the legend to Xen'Mordin's life, Xen has personally decided he is the fulfillment of the prophecy.
| | Although Kilan had killed in a fit of rage, he was able to stay apart of the Jedi Order. He and Angelina managed to make it to the rank of Jedi Knight and went on several missons together. They married in a small ceremony however neither had any contact with their families. Shortly after their marriage they were assigned to settle a gang dispute on the planet of Nar Shaddaa. Although still very young they were able to settle the conflict peacefully. However in the process they managed to make enemies. For safety they decided to leave in the middle of the night on a transport. |

| The prophecy itself is incomplete. The Zabrak Prophet and Seer, Crudhyr Dinzon, died before he finished the prophecy. Xen's life has been accurate up to the very end of the prophecy. What lies ahead of him, is now unknown to him. Due to its literary significance in the Zabrak race, many authors have written their own variants of the legend. | | It was a very stormy night. The rain and wind poured and howled as they moved quickly to the spaceport. In an effort to avoid public areas, they took back alleys. Going down a side alley that connected to major pathways they felt something was wrong. There was a stong gush of wind and Kilan found himself being propelled back with an incredible force. |

| | Getting to his feet Kilan saw a hooded figure with a red lightsaber set out of the shadows toward Angelina. Angelina was already prepared with her own lightsaber activated. Kilan got up and raced down to help his love. |
| Xen'Mordin Vismorsus, was born as Kilan Khzon, on the planet of Iridonia. His father’s name was Donlan and his mother’s Xisya. At the time of his birth he had 3 siblings. Two brothers; Kiith age 10 and Clertan age 7. His sister was Sairia, age 4. The day of birth a huge, snake like solar flare, filled the sky. At the time of his birth, an other family, humans and close friends to the Khzons, had just had a baby girl, named Amanda. The sign of the flare kept Donlan, Kilan’s father, a little nervous for fear of it being an omen.

| | He was too slow. The hooded figure cut open Angelina’s gut. A spasm of pain shot through Kilan’s body. He fell to his knees beside Angelina as the hood figure disappeared back into the shadows. Screaming in agony he held her body close. She was already dead. Kilan quickly took care of the body. The following few days he spent wandering aimlessly around the body. Unable to escape his pain he did the only thing he could think of. He destroyed himself. |
| In the year 10 ABY, at the age of five, Kilan was to be sent off to the newly reformed Jedi Academy. His family entire family had been force sensitive, but lacked any formal training. Going to the academy with Kilan was Amanda. The day they left was a big deal in the lives of the children. A huge party was held in honor of the event. The families of both children gathered for the event.

| Around midday the Jedi from the Academy arrived. When he did he joined in the festivities for a short while. After a time the Jedi went on a long tirade of what being a Jedi means. As it was time to leave, the families gathered around and said their goodbyes. Everyone was happy for Kilan and Amanda to be leaving. Everyone but Kiith that is, who remained back in the shadows glaring at the two younger children.
| | The man who walked away from this event was different being entirely. He had cut every connection he had with the force. All the memories of his life were repressed in the recesses of his mind. This man was no longer Kilan Khzon. He was now Xen’Mordin. In order to get away from this planet Xen got a posistion on the smuggler ship “The Ruthless Eagle”. His new life was awaiting. |

| The Jedi and the children made their way to the starport. At the time they arrived a large boom shook the sky. The Jedi stopped the speeder they where traveling in and looked back. A look of horror spread across his face. They quickly raced back to the now smoldering remains of Kilan’s house. The Jedi gave a quick search of the area and returned to the speeder, and took the children back to the starport. | | Being a smuggler ship, it made periodic raiding missions to abandoned ruins looking for artifacts to sell to collectors. On this particular occasion, they landed outside the ruins of a temple like structure on an uninhabited planet. Xen was selected to be one of the scouting party to search for possible artifacts. At the time the ship landed he felt a strange longing to wander the crumbling halls of the ruins. |
| After being at the Jedi Training Academy for a short while, Kilan proved to be really talented in the force. His ability made other members of his age group jealous. He had become reclusive due to the events back on Iridonia. A small group of friends, formed along with Amanda, slowly brought Kilan back to a level of normality.

| Months after joining the Academy, Kilan was wandering a dark hall where some jealous older students jumped him. Beaten and bruised, his friends found him unconscious. Kilan spent a long time recovering, but practiced his force abilities alone. Upon his return to classes, he impressed and frightened many of the other students in the class. From that he had proved his skill.
| | As the party approached the great entrance to the temple the air seemed to grow tainted. The party could feel something in their bones. Nearly everyone wanted to go back, everyone but Xen. His desire to enter was maddening, so he went alone while everyone returned to the ship. |

| === Love's Fury ===
| | He found himself in a giant open area. The tiles on the floor formed a complex seal on the floor. At the end of the room sat an alter lit by a hole in the room. Something about that alter called to Xen. He slowly walked over to it. As he crossed the room, he stepped onto the center of the seal. A blast of energy surged through Xen. The foundations of the temple shook from the force. An intense physical pain tore through body for what felt like eons. The repressed memories tore through his mind. As the pain of a thousand deaths rushed through him Xen wanted nothing more then to die. Suddenly it stopped. He felt the incredible presence of the dark side in the temple. His connection with the force was restored. |
| At the age of sixteen, Kilan’s skill with the force had made him well known at the academy. He was far from the best, but his unique style and thought process had pushed him into the upper level of the students. What had made him better known was Amanda. It didn’t come as a surprise to anyone that they fell in love. Students knew the two would sneak into each other’s rooms at night and only whispered about it behind their backs. Teachers turned a blind eye to the two’s actions. | |

| Over that time, Amanda had grown to be a beautiful young woman, catching the eye of many of the young men at the academy. Many where quite vocal about how they felt about her relationship with Kilan. Most argued that the interspecies relationship was wrong. Neither Kilan and Amanda paid any attention to the others ranting.
| | Getting to his feet he approached the alter. Resting on it was an ancient lightsaber hilt. It felt like it was made for him. He reached and picked it up. As he touched it a hooded figure stepped out of the shadows and clapped. It was the same figure who had murdered Angelina the prior year. |

| There was one student who was the most violent about the two, his name was Darion. One day Darion and a group of his friends cornered Amanda in a dark hallway of the academy. Kilan was going to meet her for breakfast, but on his way, noticed the group attempting to take advantage of her. Kilan snapped at the sight.
| | This figure quickly explained how he had spent years attempting to destroy Xen’s life for this one moment. Xen poised to attack but before he launched himself another figure stepped out from the shadows. It was a face from far in Xen’s history. It was Kiith, his jealous older brother. Kiith jumped forward with an activated red lightsaber. He had been trained in the ways of the darkside. Xen defended himself with the ancient lightsaber, which surprisingly still worked. They engaged in a duel where the memories of Xen’s Jedi training had to quickly return or he would die. In the moments of terror looking in the face of death, Xen suddenly felt very calm. With a sudden motion, he cut down Kiith. |

| Shortly before Kilan’s age group was given training sabers to carry around and practice with. The sabers where designed to not be able to produce a blade with more power then to sting. Kilan ignited his and had a short duel with Darion. In his rage Kilan used the force, giving the blade more power. It sliced Darion at his waist. The blade gave out in the middle of the slice, but it didn’t matter, Darion was dead before he hit the floor.
| | He turned to attack the hooded figure but the ancient blade could no longer sustain its energy and died with slight bang. The hooded figure told Xen that he was finally on track with his destiny and turned to leave. Not willing to let the man who killed his love walk away, Xen looked around for a way to kill him. He noticed that the ancient lightsaber hilt had a large sharp protrusion at its end. With a mighty leap he jumped forward and stabbed the hooded man in the neck. Blood squirted everywhere as the man died. Xen relished the feeling of his blood on his faith. The call for vengeance was fulfilled. Unsure of what his next move should be, he returned to the ship to meditate. |

| Time passed, and both Kilan and Amanda gained the rank of Jedi Knight. Shortly after reaching Knighthood, the two where married in a small short ceremony. They moved around together, fulfilling tasks given by the counsel. Once such mission was to help settle a gang territory dispute on Nar Shaddaa. They settled it, but in the process had made some enemies. They decided to leave the planet in the middle of the night.
| | Xen didn’t leave his quarters for sometime after the incident at the temple. He meditated and fully restored his connection to the force. However it was clear he would require further training. Much of his Jedi training seemed to be lost to the void. He felt a strange call to go the shroud. Not knowing why, he knew he must venture there to continue with his training. He had to come up with a way to get there. |

| That night was stormy. Rain poured down as they raced to the spaceport. They avoided the main routes, and stuck to the back allies. Both felt something was wrong as they walked down a particularly dark ally. Halfway down the ally Kilan was shot back down to the entry point. A hooded figure stepped out of the shadows with a red lightsaber and proceeded to attack Amanda. Kilan quickly got to his feet and raced down to aid his love.
| | Most of the crew of “The Ruthless Eagle” stayed away from Xen over the coming days. They had run from the temple and knew something must have happened there. Xen gathered some of his closest friends and informed them of his plan to take over the ship so they could receive better cuts. Treachery was so common among the scum of the earth that they had no problem with it. Xen was incredibly happy with how easily they bought into his lie. As a group they managed to remove some key parts to the ship so it was stuck floating in the dead of space. The only available power was sent to life support. However they were floating dead. |

| He didn’t make it in time. The hooded figure sliced open Amanda’s gut. The hooded figure vanished back into the shadows. Racked with pain Kilan held Amanda’s body close. She was dead.
| | With the ship dead in space Xen was able to quietly kill the majority of the crew. In a matter of hours they were all dead. The only ones remaining were those who had enlisted to aid Xen in his take over. Although bothered by the amount of deaths Xen created, Xen promised it was all part of his plan for more money. The ship was restored to full power and made its way into the shroud. It was there Xen found Antei. |

| Kilan quickly took care of the body, and wandered aimlessly around Nar Shaddaa. He couldn’t escape his pain. What he did next would terrify most force users. He forcibly cut off his connection with the force. Every strand was cut. To the Jedi Order, Kilan and Amanda both died on Nar Shaddaa. Kilan was no more. He was now Xen’Mordin. Xen wanted to run away from that planet. He got a position on a smuggler ship ''The Ruthless Eagle''. A new life awaited him.

He had gained the trust of the crew as well, becoming an inner cog of the working of the ship.
| | Upon enlisting in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, Xen was placed into Clan Satal Keto. Quickly feeling at home there, Xen worked hard to achieve the rank of [[Protector]]. It was shortly after achieving this rank the darkness took control of Xen’s mind driving him into solitude for several months away from the clan. |

| Being a smuggler ship, it occasionally landed in abandoned regions, looking for ancient artifacts. On this occasion, they landed in an open field outside of a temple like building. Xen was one of the leaders of the scouting party to look for artifacts inside. Once the ship touched down and Xen saw the building he had a strong feeling of longing. Longing to go in and wander the halls of the building.
| | Upon returning Xen was even more determed to advance within the Brotherhood. However it was clear the events in the ancient Sith temple left a mark greater then just his restoration with the force. His mind was fractured and believed to be beyond repair. Dealing with having two minds dwell within one body led to some stark contrasts in Xen’s personality. However this did not stop him from finding a master in Warhunter. It was under Warhunter’s guidance that Xen received his first leadership position as Battle Team Leader of Eternal Plague. He held this position until Satal Keto was merged with Clan Exar Kun to form [[Clan Plagueis]]. |

| It wasn’t long before the scouting party approached the great entrance to the temple. The very air seemed tainted, and the majority of the group wanted to go back. After a short discussion the group decided to go back, except for Xen who had a maddening hunger to continue. He slowly ventured into the temple.

| | Xen was hopeful this new merger would prove to be beneficial. His hopes were bolstered with the leadership of former Grand Master Chi Long. A short time after the merger, he was offered the position of House Envoy for [[House Satal Keto]]. He worked hard at this position and in time was promoted to Clan Envoy. Doubling his effort and working closely with Warhunter, he achieved the rank of [[Dark Jedi Knight]]. |

However the force had other plans then letting Xen sit simply in Clan Plagueis. Following some drastic changes in the Clan the feeling of home Xen had disappeared. It was time to move on. |

The figure explained how he had been the one who had set up all the painful events in Xen’s past, from the death of his family to killing Amanda. Xen was ready to attack in his rage when another figure stepped out of the shadows. This one Xen recognized. It was Kiith his older brother, thought dead for all these years. The brothers engaged in a lightsaber duel where Xen easily cut down Kiith. The hooded figure told Xen his destiny was right on track and started to walk out. Before Xen could attack, the ancient lightsaber he held died, all power was gone.

| | Without much time to settle into his new home, Xen found himself as a Clan Envoy yet again. So involved with the clan work he was unaware of the turmoil growing in his clan. He found himself engaged in a war between his own [[House Caliburnus]] and [[House Dorimad Sol]], a fellow house in CSP. |

| Xen noticed how the hilt of the lightsaber had many sharp parts to it. He threw it at the back of the hooded figure. The hooded figure collapsed, dead. Xen picked up the blade. A life time of vengeance was fulfilled. He wasn’t sure what to do next. He returned to the ship and planned out his next course of action. | | Xen fought bravely in the war, earning the rank of [[Sith Warrior]] and establishing himself as an important figure in the clan. Now an Equite, Xen constructed a new lightsaber with the traditional red blade. He adapted to the animal love of the clan, and established a strong connection with snakes, eventually owning several. |

| ===To Darkness===
| | With [[House Caliburnus]]’s victory in the war with Dorimad Sol Xen gained a new role. He became second in command of the house as an [[Aedile]]. He worked closely with [[Impetus]] who served as [[Quaestor]]. They became rather intimate, and Impetus worked well around the dual nature of Xen’s personality. Over the course of nine months, Xen helped build the house into a powerful and sustainable force. After this time, Xen was ready to take some time off. He resigned to free himself of burden and dedicated himself to study. |
| Xen didn’t leave his quarters on the ship for sometime after the incident at the temple. He felt a great call to a planet called Antei. He worked for sometime formulating a plan to get there. At this point Xen differed from most Zabrak in that he wasn’t tattooed. While he worked he slowly tattooed himself with a Sith pattern. No one disturbed him while he was in there, working. The crew of the ‘’The Ruthless Eagle’’ where afraid ever since the temple. The ship was slowly doing one of its smuggling runs when Xen knew what to do. | |

| Xen gathered his closest friends on the ship and told them how he wanted to take control to get better cuts of money, and if they aided in this, they would be rewarded. They bought and helped out. They successfully stopped the ship in the dead of space. They where floating dead. | | Sooner then Xen would have liked another feud broke out among the houses. This time between Caliburnus and Acclivis Draco. He fought hard, yet the feud ended with neither side victorious. How ever there were some more important house related matters to focus on. The location of the ancient mythical lightsaber Caliburnus was found. And who ever wielded it was the rightful leader of the house. During the hunt to recover the blade, Xen abandoned his Quaestor and friend Impetus to aid Thran Occasus. Xen was captured while Thran was finally claiming the blade. He managed to escaped and returned to the house days later after the leadership had changed around. |

| Xen quickly and quietly poisoned the rest of the crew. After a horrific several hours, the majority of the crew was dead, except for the ones Xen enlisted. They restored power and made their way to Antei. Once they arrived Xen slaughtered his friends who had helped them. He then made his way to the great hall of Dark Jedi Brotherhood, looking to join. | | It was now that Xen had to aid CSP fight off long time rival [[Clan Arcona]]. CSP lost the conflict and Xen was devastated. With renewed focus he helped CSP come in second in the Rite of Supremacy. For his efforts over this time, Xen was promoted to [[Sith Battlemaster]]. |

| | When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy Xen aided the entire Brotherhood in trying to fight them off. They were exiled from their homes and had to reclaim them later. This event left a mark on Xen who noticed that even with the combined might of the brotherhood this force could not be stopped. It was now that he decided to leave. For good if necessary. He left on his ship “The Shattered Phantom” for deep space not knowing if he would return. |

Xen was hopeful his new home would prove great, especially under the leadership of a former Grand Master, Chi Long. It wasn’t long before he was offered a position of aiding new members as House Envoy for [[House Satal Keto]]. He worked hard at this calling and in time was rewarded with a job promotion to Clan Envoy. He doubled his effort, and shortly found himself attained the rank of [[Dark Jedi Knight]].

| Xen felt great pride as he was finally able to wield his own lightsaber again. Still unable to fix the ancient blade he had found earlier, Xen built a simple lightsaber. A change was coming on the wind. A series of events followed, leading Xen to no longer feel at home in the clan. He decided to transfer to a new Clan.

| With [[House Caliburnus]]’s victory in the feud. Xen gained a new role. He was now [[Aedile]] second in command of the house, working with [[Impetus]] the [[Quaestor]]. He served hard for well over nine months in the position. In this time, he helped build up the house to become much stronger then it was, and helped fight in the Sixth Great Jedi War. When all this came to an end, Xen was ready for some personal time, not burdened with the pains of responsibility to further himself more. He resigned from his position and went out to study more of the Dark side.

| During the hunt for the ancient blade, Xen deserted his Quaestor and friend Impetus and ventured off to aid Thran. Xen was caught while Thran was deep in the temple finding the lightsaber. Xen escaped into the jungle until Thran and Rasilvenaira gained control of the House.

Sith Battlemaster Xen’Mordin Vismorsus, more commonly known as Xen, has a long history in the DJB. Originally a member of Clan Satal Keto, he served in Clan Plagueis following the combination of Satal Keto with Clan Exar Kun. After a time he made the decision to uproot and made his way to Clan Scholae Palatinae where he undertook many roles. Notably he served in House Caliburnus as an Aedile for many months helping it thrive. Following the invasion of the Yuuzhan Vong, he disappeared. His whereabouts for this time period are as of now unknown.
Character History
Pre-Dark Brotherhood
The Birth
Xen’Mordin was born as Kilan Khzon on the planet of Coruscant. His father, Donlan, was a fairly wealthy merchant. His mother, Xisya, came from a wealthy political family. He had two brothers Kiith, age 10, and Clertan, age 7; He also had a sister, Sairia, age 4. Although the galaxy was still in turmoil following the death of Emperor Palpatine, the Khzon’s were financially and emotionally stable. Around this same time, another human family very close to Khzons, had a baby girl, Angelina.
Time for Change
The first several years of Kilan’s life were blissful. Despite the continued political turmoil his family lived in safety and joy. He started some formal education but showed signs of force sensitivity. When the new Jedi Academy opened in the year 11 ABY, Kilan was one of the students selected to come study. Along with him came the daughter of their close friend, Angelina. Although both were really too young to understand what this meant for their futures, Kilan’s older brother Kiith fully saw the potential. Kiith begged to be accepted as well, however was rejected. Kiith became rather hostile toward his very young brother. His final few days left at home were filled with discomfort. All of the prior happiness Kilan enjoyed at home disappeared over those few days.
A New Start
After several months at the Academy memories of home began to fade from Kilan’s mind. Although very young he became very dedicated to the study of the force. He maintained a close relationship with Angelina and gained a very small group of friends. Although he wasn’t the top of all the students he was still skilled.
Love’s Fury
By the age of 16, Kilan and Angelina both had moved on to being Padawans. Although dealing with frequent separation they had a blossoming love. The new Jedi Order did not scorn their affection. Their master’s understood the importance of sustaining their connection. As a group of four they ventured on a diplomatic mission to the padawans’ homeworld of Coruscant. Things were going well, and it became obvious that Kilan and Angelina were not only in love, but able to work very well together.
It was late one evening and Angelina managed to get separated from the others. By this time she had grown into a very beautiful young woman. Some shady thugs had caught a glimpse of her and decided they wanted some action. Because there were several of them, Angelina was not able to hold them off. Kilan had noticed she was missing and went looking for her.
He finally found her as the thugs were pinning her to the ground. A rage flooded through Kilan like he had never experienced. With a flash he had decapitated the leader of the thugs with his lightsaber. In terror the other thugs fled. Kilan made to go after them but his master managed grab hold of his arm. He had to be restrained.
Love’s Last Breath
Although Kilan had killed in a fit of rage, he was able to stay apart of the Jedi Order. He and Angelina managed to make it to the rank of Jedi Knight and went on several missons together. They married in a small ceremony however neither had any contact with their families. Shortly after their marriage they were assigned to settle a gang dispute on the planet of Nar Shaddaa. Although still very young they were able to settle the conflict peacefully. However in the process they managed to make enemies. For safety they decided to leave in the middle of the night on a transport.
It was a very stormy night. The rain and wind poured and howled as they moved quickly to the spaceport. In an effort to avoid public areas, they took back alleys. Going down a side alley that connected to major pathways they felt something was wrong. There was a stong gush of wind and Kilan found himself being propelled back with an incredible force.
Getting to his feet Kilan saw a hooded figure with a red lightsaber set out of the shadows toward Angelina. Angelina was already prepared with her own lightsaber activated. Kilan got up and raced down to help his love.
He was too slow. The hooded figure cut open Angelina’s gut. A spasm of pain shot through Kilan’s body. He fell to his knees beside Angelina as the hood figure disappeared back into the shadows. Screaming in agony he held her body close. She was already dead. Kilan quickly took care of the body. The following few days he spent wandering aimlessly around the body. Unable to escape his pain he did the only thing he could think of. He destroyed himself.
The man who walked away from this event was different being entirely. He had cut every connection he had with the force. All the memories of his life were repressed in the recesses of his mind. This man was no longer Kilan Khzon. He was now Xen’Mordin. In order to get away from this planet Xen got a posistion on the smuggler ship “The Ruthless Eagle”. His new life was awaiting.
The Fall
A year passed. Xen was now 18 and had a home upon “The Ruthless Eagle”, or as much as a home that could be possible among smugglers. Living without the aid of the force took some getting use to but Xen eventually came to enjoy the silence. Through out the year he had come to be a integral cog in the workings of the ship.
Being a smuggler ship, it made periodic raiding missions to abandoned ruins looking for artifacts to sell to collectors. On this particular occasion, they landed outside the ruins of a temple like structure on an uninhabited planet. Xen was selected to be one of the scouting party to search for possible artifacts. At the time the ship landed he felt a strange longing to wander the crumbling halls of the ruins.
As the party approached the great entrance to the temple the air seemed to grow tainted. The party could feel something in their bones. Nearly everyone wanted to go back, everyone but Xen. His desire to enter was maddening, so he went alone while everyone returned to the ship.
He found himself in a giant open area. The tiles on the floor formed a complex seal on the floor. At the end of the room sat an alter lit by a hole in the room. Something about that alter called to Xen. He slowly walked over to it. As he crossed the room, he stepped onto the center of the seal. A blast of energy surged through Xen. The foundations of the temple shook from the force. An intense physical pain tore through body for what felt like eons. The repressed memories tore through his mind. As the pain of a thousand deaths rushed through him Xen wanted nothing more then to die. Suddenly it stopped. He felt the incredible presence of the dark side in the temple. His connection with the force was restored.
Getting to his feet he approached the alter. Resting on it was an ancient lightsaber hilt. It felt like it was made for him. He reached and picked it up. As he touched it a hooded figure stepped out of the shadows and clapped. It was the same figure who had murdered Angelina the prior year.
This figure quickly explained how he had spent years attempting to destroy Xen’s life for this one moment. Xen poised to attack but before he launched himself another figure stepped out from the shadows. It was a face from far in Xen’s history. It was Kiith, his jealous older brother. Kiith jumped forward with an activated red lightsaber. He had been trained in the ways of the darkside. Xen defended himself with the ancient lightsaber, which surprisingly still worked. They engaged in a duel where the memories of Xen’s Jedi training had to quickly return or he would die. In the moments of terror looking in the face of death, Xen suddenly felt very calm. With a sudden motion, he cut down Kiith.
He turned to attack the hooded figure but the ancient blade could no longer sustain its energy and died with slight bang. The hooded figure told Xen that he was finally on track with his destiny and turned to leave. Not willing to let the man who killed his love walk away, Xen looked around for a way to kill him. He noticed that the ancient lightsaber hilt had a large sharp protrusion at its end. With a mighty leap he jumped forward and stabbed the hooded man in the neck. Blood squirted everywhere as the man died. Xen relished the feeling of his blood on his faith. The call for vengeance was fulfilled. Unsure of what his next move should be, he returned to the ship to meditate.
The Dark Brotherhood
To Darkness
Xen didn’t leave his quarters for sometime after the incident at the temple. He meditated and fully restored his connection to the force. However it was clear he would require further training. Much of his Jedi training seemed to be lost to the void. He felt a strange call to go the shroud. Not knowing why, he knew he must venture there to continue with his training. He had to come up with a way to get there.
Most of the crew of “The Ruthless Eagle” stayed away from Xen over the coming days. They had run from the temple and knew something must have happened there. Xen gathered some of his closest friends and informed them of his plan to take over the ship so they could receive better cuts. Treachery was so common among the scum of the earth that they had no problem with it. Xen was incredibly happy with how easily they bought into his lie. As a group they managed to remove some key parts to the ship so it was stuck floating in the dead of space. The only available power was sent to life support. However they were floating dead.
With the ship dead in space Xen was able to quietly kill the majority of the crew. In a matter of hours they were all dead. The only ones remaining were those who had enlisted to aid Xen in his take over. Although bothered by the amount of deaths Xen created, Xen promised it was all part of his plan for more money. The ship was restored to full power and made its way into the shroud. It was there Xen found Antei.
This was the place Xen had to find. They landed the ship outside a great complex. With out a second though Xen quickly killed those who had help him get the ship there and left their bodies to rot on the ship. He made his way to the complex. He was home.
Clan Satal Keto
Upon enlisting in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, Xen was placed into Clan Satal Keto. Quickly feeling at home there, Xen worked hard to achieve the rank of Protector. It was shortly after achieving this rank the darkness took control of Xen’s mind driving him into solitude for several months away from the clan.
Upon returning Xen was even more determed to advance within the Brotherhood. However it was clear the events in the ancient Sith temple left a mark greater then just his restoration with the force. His mind was fractured and believed to be beyond repair. Dealing with having two minds dwell within one body led to some stark contrasts in Xen’s personality. However this did not stop him from finding a master in Warhunter. It was under Warhunter’s guidance that Xen received his first leadership position as Battle Team Leader of Eternal Plague. He held this position until Satal Keto was merged with Clan Exar Kun to form Clan Plagueis.
Clan Plagueis
Xen was hopeful this new merger would prove to be beneficial. His hopes were bolstered with the leadership of former Grand Master Chi Long. A short time after the merger, he was offered the position of House Envoy for House Satal Keto. He worked hard at this position and in time was promoted to Clan Envoy. Doubling his effort and working closely with Warhunter, he achieved the rank of Dark Jedi Knight.
Xen was glad he could finally wield a proper lightsaber again. However still lacking the knowledge to fix his ancient blade from the temple, he crafted a simple lightsaber. However the force had other plans then letting Xen sit simply in Clan Plagueis. Following some drastic changes in the Clan the feeling of home Xen had disappeared. It was time to move on.
Clan Scholae Palatinae
Without much time to settle into his new home, Xen found himself as a Clan Envoy yet again. So involved with the clan work he was unaware of the turmoil growing in his clan. He found himself engaged in a war between his own House Caliburnus and House Dorimad Sol, a fellow house in CSP.
Xen fought bravely in the war, earning the rank of Sith Warrior and establishing himself as an important figure in the clan. Now an Equite, Xen constructed a new lightsaber with the traditional red blade. He adapted to the animal love of the clan, and established a strong connection with snakes, eventually owning several.

Sooner then Xen would have liked another feud broke out among the houses. This time between Caliburnus and Acclivis Draco. He fought hard, yet the feud ended with neither side victorious. How ever there were some more important house related matters to focus on. The location of the ancient mythical lightsaber Caliburnus was found. And who ever wielded it was the rightful leader of the house. During the hunt to recover the blade, Xen abandoned his Quaestor and friend Impetus to aid Thran Occasus. Xen was captured while Thran was finally claiming the blade. He managed to escaped and returned to the house days later after the leadership had changed around.
It was now that Xen had to aid CSP fight off long time rival Clan Arcona. CSP lost the conflict and Xen was devastated. With renewed focus he helped CSP come in second in the Rite of Supremacy. For his efforts over this time, Xen was promoted to Sith Battlemaster.
When the Yuuzhan Vong invaded the galaxy Xen aided the entire Brotherhood in trying to fight them off. They were exiled from their homes and had to reclaim them later. This event left a mark on Xen who noticed that even with the combined might of the brotherhood this force could not be stopped. It was now that he decided to leave. For good if necessary. He left on his ship “The Shattered Phantom” for deep space not knowing if he would return.
The Restoration
