Centam Javik is a human Jedi from Perune's moon Ostara. Raised in a small village and orphaned from a very young age, he did not learn right and wrong until he was kicked out at age 15 and forced to live on his own in the harsh jungle.
Character History
Kicked Out
As a young child, Centam got into a lot of trouble, which only increased once he discovered his talent for telekinesis, using it to steal food and easily misplaced possessions while hiding in the branches of a tree. He stashed his pilfered items in a hollowed-out branch, and concealed it with a practically invisible bark lid.
After about three years of this, during which many small items went missing, his cache was discovered when a huge storm broke the branch at the cavity, scattering items across his entire village. The total value of the stolen items was almost enough to get him banished from his village forever, and his use of the Force pushed it over the edge, since the village had been attacked by the Empire during Order 66 when they sheltered a Jedi.
Joining the Brotherhood
After five years of survival in the harsh forests of Ostara, Centam had become deeply connected to the Living Force. Now twenty years old, Centam had mastered the jungle, living high in the trees to avoid danger, but farming on the ground in a small clearing. One day, while out gathering resources, Centam strayed too far and stumbled across a Taldryan camp that was under attack from a pack of rancors. Overpowered and surprised, they were about to be defeated, but Centam called out, leading the rancors away. When he returned to the camp, Centam spoke with the soldiers, who recommended that he join the Brotherhood. He did so later that day, and learned much during the next several months, rising quickly through the ranks and even earning an Anteian Cross.
